Sorry, guys!

Hi ElsaIcySnowflake! Yeah, I was bummed the rubber band thing didn't work, too. Hopefully I can create a similar effect when I redo her hair.

I have seen the Animator's Collection Littles. Aren't they adorable? :D I'm not sure if I'll add them to my collection yet or not, as I really do need to start downsizing a bit. I'm just flat running out of space! I think they're really cute, though.

I just did a review of the live action Beauty and the Beast. I personally did not find LeFou's storyline to be too problematic, but I can understand some of the concerns others had about it, too.

Hot Topic is the best, isn't it? :D

Thanks, Sarah! Lol, I didn't exactly have you in mind for the nude doll alert. ;) But I'm glad you found it helpful. Hee hee.

Hi honeysucklejasmine! I finally got that review up! Hope you enjoy it!

Hi Meritre! Thanks for both of your comments, friend. :)

Hi Mark! Good to hear from you.

Lol, my middle daughter is completely in love with hot glue. She actually just bought her own hot glue gun with some of her birthday money, and she uses it almost every day! ;)

"Apples to Apples" is basically a game of association. There are green cards that are more topical and red cards that have different things on them that can be "matched" with the topics on the green cards. So the dealer will pick a green card, for example: "Painful," with a definition and some synonyms. The other players all have to choose from their red cards and hope that the dealer will like their card the best. So, as another example, I could choose my red card that says, "My First Date" and hope the dealer thought that was a good match for "Painful." It's more about knowing the dealer and what will make them laugh or choose your card over the others than about strategy. Kind of an odd game, and a little hard to explain, but hopefully that gives you an idea. ;)

I was really impressed with the cake and dessert bar, too. I'm so glad I'm not in charge of that part of the parties! ;)

Thanks for your sympathy. Thankfully, our makeup trip was lovely and accident-free! :)

There are certainly a lot of live action Disney films in the works. It will be interesting to see how they do. I personally really enjoyed the live action Beauty and the Beast, but I can understand how it won't be for everyone.

I'm super happy with the castle friends set, too. And I'm really excited to finish my Belle custom!

I'm glad your Adrienne hasn't had too many problems. I'm super happy with how Bryden turned out, though. I need to stop myself from buying all the Made to Move Barbie bodies I find!! ;)

Hi Amber! I totally agree with you on the Hasbro and Disney Store dolls. Even though the Hasbro dress is a little snug, I still am happy that I swapped her with a MtM body. And yes, the Disney Store dress is lovely.

Thanks, Farrah! Nice to hear from you. :) Spirit Week definitely was exhausting, but it's always so fun to see how excited the girls are in their costumes. And I couldn't do it without the help I get from my parents. They're the best! :)

Can't wait to share pics from our birthday trip with you all! It was wonderful. :)Hannah Prewett (beastsbelle)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15635091328769986946noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7646962372158228871.post-41837321922268764012017-03-25T19:24:44.895-07:002017-03-25T19:24:44.895-07:00Great to see you back, Hannah! The girls all look very cute in their costumes, and I can't help but feel the word "exhausting" when I hear of spirits weeks, lol. I only have 1 in school right now and it's exhausting to me when that week rolls around. :)
I'm sorry to hear your trip got a bit spoiled, but I'm glad you have a "re-do" planned soon. I always love seeing the birthday hauls!
Farrahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01131848005650508647noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7646962372158228871.post-66626375897040054142017-03-20T12:52:22.771-07:002017-03-20T12:52:22.771-07:00I still 100% agree that the Hasbro Belle is better...I still 100% agree that the Hasbro Belle is better looking than the Disney Store Belle, I just wish the Hasbro body was more articulated and stronger feeling. I would take the Disney Store Belle dress and put it on the Hasbro Belle doll, that seems like a good combo, because as much as I don't like the Disney Store Belle doll I do love how the dress turned out!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00099568966279207865noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7646962372158228871.post-80778973094665021372017-03-20T11:00:08.298-07:002017-03-20T11:00:08.298-07:00I really like the hot glue water effect on the dol...I really like the hot glue water effect on the dolphin/fairy derby car. Hot glue is some versatile stuff!

What's that "Apples to Apples" card game like? I've never heard of it before; is it any fun? The last card game I bought was the MLP Rock N Rave (Maud Pie vs. DJ Pon-3) set.

That Moana birthday cake is pretty amazing; your mother/father/aunt do great work! I also liked the ice cream & toppings idea for a cake alternative; I've never seen that done before either.

Sorry to hear that the birthday trip was spoiled by flooding and your Aunt took a spill.

While it's interesting to see "real" interpretations of the animated characters, particularly the animate objects like Lumiere and Cogsworth, I'm probably not going to see the Emma Watson film--I prefer cartoons to reality (I didn't watch the recent live action Cinderella either). I watched a video the other day where they said that Emma had to go to Disney "Princess School" for weeks because she didn't even know how to ride a horse, dance, or sing! I got the most recent issue of Time Magazine in the mail Friday, and, in addition to a review of Beauty & The Beast, they noted that Disney has live versions of The Little Mermaid, Mulan, The Lion King, and Aladdin in the works too.

I really like that Castle Friends set; the detail on Cogsworth is particularly impressive. And Hasbro's Belle heads definitely look worlds better than the Disney Store version even if they aren't the greatest match for Emma's features. Hopefully your customization work can improve her.

I only have one MC2 doll so far, Adrienne Attoms, but I had better luck with the sturdiness of mine than you did with the McKeyla you returned. It's true that her elbow joints are kind of loose/floppy, but, other than that, I didn't have any problems with Adrienne and she's become one of my favorite dolls. Your Bryden looks good on that M2M Barbie body.Mark Patrawhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07543430490598733014noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7646962372158228871.post-35389053812008382092017-03-18T01:24:07.897-07:002017-03-18T01:24:07.897-07:00Thankyou so much, it really means a lot to me. :) ...Thankyou so much, it really means a lot to me. :) I hope you enjoy Beauty and the Beast.
(This one is just for you and you can keep the my other comment hidden as well if you'd like to)Meritrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05539619656178007659noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7646962372158228871.post-87404343028324923462017-03-17T22:25:51.518-07:002017-03-17T22:25:51.518-07:00Glad to read you! She actually looked nice with her hair like that. I saw her in person a few weeks ago, and while she looked better than the stock photos, I still didn't really like her. Oh well. I guess I'll save some money, haha.
Have you seen the Animators' Collection Littles, by any chance? There is a Belle set I think you'd probably like.:) (I got the Frozen one, cuteness overload:P :))

I personally am looking forward to seeing the live-action BatB. I am Christian-Lefou being gay doesn't bother me. People shouldn't make such a stink about it, in my opinion.

I love your little blind bag keychain! So cute!:) And yes, the Hot Topic employees are really nice here, too. It's one of the reasons I like shopping there.:)ElsaIcySnowflakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06961676454009831805noreply@blogger.com
