New Tangled Ever After Items at the Disney Store! :)

Hey guys, I just got an email from Disneystore.com about their new Tangled Ever After collection! :)  They have some great items, including a beautiful limited edition 17" Wedding Rapunzel doll with short brown hair! (See picture below.)  They also have Barbie-sized wedding Rapunzel and Eugene dolls.  Of course, that Rapunzel still has long blonde hair, which really bothers me!  Accuracy, people! ;)

Anyway, I thought you might be interested in seeing what they have to offer.  Click HERE to see everything.  I'm thinking of getting the mini doll set with mini wedding Rapunzel and Eugene.  What are your favorite items?

Of course it's your choice, but I'd love to see a review on the 12" wedding Rapunzel. She appears to have a new face mold! :D

Hey, I had to check your profile to see if it was still you! ;)

The 12" wedding Rapunzel is beautiful, but I don't plan on buying her at this time (and not just because she's not accurate to the movie). ;) If I change my mind later, I'll be sure to do a review! :)

By the way, I don't think she has a new face mold. I think they just painted it differently. The mold looks identical to my current Rapunzel doll.

Beastsbelle I finally figured out the new H4H girl's name the one from new orleans name is Rue this is from doll diaries

"Rue is a compassionate girl from New Orleans who saw the worst of Hurricane Katrina, but chose to rise above. Starting a club with her friends called “LIL Hearts,” Rue is making sure no pets will ever be left behind again. Sporting cute shoes and a multi-colored dress, Rue is on her way to leading others in strength and confidence. (**NOTE – according to a comment left by a H4H representative, Rue may not be her name when she hits store shelves. They are still getting through the trademarking process)" -doll diaries.com

How did I know you'd have a post up? :D I saw this in my email today and instantly thought of you. I kinda want that limited edition 17" Rapunzel (short hair, it's about time), but oh, the $100 price tag kills me. And yes, giant boo to the blonde hair on the affordable version. ;D

(Only time will tell if Pieface wants a Rapunzel wedding dress for Halloween, or whether her current phase lasts and I have to come up with a Darth Vader costume instead!)

WOW! That's all I can say - that 17 inch doll is stunning! So much detail, it's amazing! (And expensive!) I also love the 12 inch doll, her hair is sooooo pretty with the flowered braid, even if it is inaccurate. I love it! I think having a bunch of 6 inch Rapunzels, Flynn Riders, and a Mother Gothel in with Belle and her friends would be hilarious!

I have a sort of off-topic question. When you got Nahji, did you see Tipi? I have seen pics of Tipi with paler skin than the H4H site pic and skin more golden than the H4H pic and am wondering which is more accurate. Thanks for any help you can give, even if it's not much! :)

Thanks for all of the comments, everyone! :)

Savanah, thanks for the info on the new Hearts 4 Hearts girl. We'll have to see if she ends up keeping the name Rue or not. :)

Jen, I was thinking of you when I did this post, too. :) My mini set finally got here!! :D I ordered it today...I can't wait till it gets here!

I love the 17" Rapunzel, but blowing $100 on a fashion doll is not going to happen any time soon for me. ;) I'd also want to remove her freckles, but I'd be too nervous to try it on a doll that expensive!

I was wondering how easy it would be to find a short brunette wig to rewig the 12" wedding Rapunzel doll. :) I found one on eBay that was the perfect size and style, but it was $18 plus shipping! :( I just can't see spending that much on another Rapunzel doll at this point, although it would still be a lot cheaper than the 17" one. :} I do like the detail on 12" Rapunzel's dress...I might eventually be able to live with the hair. ;)

I laughed so hard at the though of Pie choosing between Wedding Rapunzel and Darth Vader. That's quite a span there! ;)

Mary, I actually have some pretty cool plans for that mini Mother Gothel. Imagine being a villain set on revenge but only 6" tall in a 12" doll world. I think there are going to be some awesome story possibilities on Belle's Bulletins! ;)

I did see Tipi...she's one of my other favorites. Her skin does have a golden tone to it, but I'd say it's pretty pale overall, perhaps just a bit paler than Consuelo's. It's been a while since I've seen her though, so don't quote me on that! ;)

I caved and put the Limited Edition Rapunzel on my Amazon wishlist. I don't ever expect to get her; I keep a few ridiculous things on there just in case someone wins the lottery and decides to buy me an overpriced present. :D

I have my eye on the Monique Gold "Roxie" wig for a possible custom Rapunzel - it only goes up to size 9, and doesn't come in pure brown, but the style is so perfect. Size 9 might fit a Pullip...*plots*

Hannah Prewett (beastsbelle) said...

Lol, wouldn't that be awesome? ;D I have the same philosophy...I mean, maybe we have an unknown rich relative somewhere just dying to buy us a spendy present. If we have things like that on our wishlist, they'll know what to get us, right? ;)

Here's a link to the wig I thought might work (it already ended, but there are lots more listed): http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.l2557&item=350534826565&nma=true&rt=nc&si=s1Pcn8aE5Z6eSlTYTJsbAe0KHD8%253D&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc#ht_500wt_1413

It's not quite the right shade, but it's close. What do you think?

I feel the same way about the new Rapunzel doll, Liddy! I'm glad you enjoyed Pride and Prejudice, too. It's one of my favorites! :)

Thanks for the link, Elliebob. Great pictures! :) It's interesting comparing the Mattel dolls with the Disney Store dolls. I'm glad I went with the Disney Store ones, myself. :)

Savanah, what sort of tricks and tips were you thinking? Tips for getting followers? Tips for decorating or posting? Let me know what you're thinking and I'll see what I can do. :)

Aww, thanks Savanah. :)

As far as tips, for starters, I would suggest posting at least once a week, or at the very least once every two weeks, just to get the momentum going. Post for your own enjoyment. If you write about things you love, you will eventually attract others with the same interests.

When trying to build up your followers, often it helps to read and comment on other blogs. When you comment on someone else's blog, many times they'll be interested in checking out your blog, too. :)

Above all, just have fun and don't stress about numbers! :)

Thank you beasts belle you are the best I am enjoying posting especially when I look back I can see what I did or what dolls I had and I may not be the best doll photographer but I sure do love taking pictures of them. And I hope you don't mind but I also made a my dolls page sort of like yours but not as detailed as I have been super busy.
Thanks so so so much

No problem, Savanah. :) I'm glad you're having fun with it. And of course I don't mind that you made a "My Dolls" page...it's not like I was the first person to do that. ;)

Have a great week!

Beastsbelle, how's your daughter doing? Is she in much pain? That must of been a traumatizing thing for a little girl to go through!

Hannah Prewett (beastsbelle) said...

Hi Claire, thanks for commenting! Sorry I haven't updated in a while. She is doing wonderfully! You'd never guess she'd had surgery 2 weeks ago! :) It was tough for her to go through, but she was a little trooper! I was so proud of her. :) Things have just been really busy with getting her caught up on school work and such...and tonight my new little niece was born, so that's been a bit of a distraction, too! :)

Savanah said...

That's so exciting that your niece was born sounds like another young doll lover! Thanks again for your great tips.
