I decided to use Jenna (fka Rebecca) for this photo shoot since I haven't had a chance to introduce her on Tess and Maggie's blog yet. I thought this might make the wait a bit more tolerable. ;) (You'll notice further on down that Middle Gal's Nahji got in on the photos, too. My daughter wanted me to take a picture of her doll, too!) ;)

Almost Spring Photo Shoot
The weather has really warmed up in the last week, so flowers and blossoms are popping up all over! :) Our neighbor's trees have some incredible blossoms right now, so I decided to take some pics. Sadly, our nectarine and cherry trees had to be pretty severely pruned this year, so their buds are almost non-existent. :( Good thing our neighbors have such gorgeous blooms for us to enjoy! :D

Lovely photos. Spring is always such a pretty time, but I dread the return of the heat and all that comes with it. We killed the first snake of the season yesterday about 15 feet from our back porch, :o(
ReplyDeleteWow! Those are beautiful! I love them. :)
ReplyDeleteThey both look beautiful out there in the spring weather, I cannot wait for spring, it is time now for some life in our yard.
ReplyDeleteI just got Rebecca at AG Seattle last weekend, her name is Helen and she is my Grandee remembrance doll. Loved seeing photo's of your girl too.
Hugs,
TracAn
Thanks, everyone! I'm laughing right now because I totally thought I scheduled this post for tomorrow! I was really surprised to see comments for a post that supposedly hadn't been published yet! ;)
ReplyDeleteBama, I agree with you. It gets really hot here, too. We average 100 degree and above weather in the summertime. And I don't envy you regarding the snakes. Eewww!! :{
Thanks, Kellee. :) Glad you enjoyed them!
Hi TracAn! Glad to hear you got back from your trip okay. Rebecca is a beautiful doll...it's fun that yours will help you remember someone special, too. :) Hope you get some nice spring weather soon! :)
Very beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSpring came early for us too and my sisters and I like to go outside.
Thanks, Sadie! :) My daughters and I have been enjoying the nice weather, too. :)
ReplyDeleteJenna looks so pretty! I need to get outside in this lovely weather and get some pictures of my dolls, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jessie! :) I would definitely recommend it. There's nothing like beautiful spring blossoms for a doll photo shoot! ;)
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos, God's creation is...so amazing!
ReplyDeleteShe's so pretty! I think Jenna is a great name for her. I would name her Rori (short for Aurora). Your lucky to have those beautiful blossoms next to you! :)
ReplyDeleteMickey's Girl (I'm back! ^_^)
I agree, Princess of the King! :) I'm especially reminded of this in the spring and the fall (my 2 favorite seasons).
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Mickey's Girl! :) Hope you're doing well. Thanks for commenting! :)
So sweet! I love those blossoms. Too bad we don't have any of those trees. This year I just had to stick with trees. Haha! :) Did middle gal take that pic herself?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Elliebob. :) No, Middle Gal didn't take the photo. I was actually holding Nahji up over my head to capture the blossoms, so Middle Gal wouldn't have been able to get that shot! ;)
ReplyDeleteWOW!! Rebecca looks stunning.
ReplyDeleteShe has pretty curls, what do you do to take care of them?
I have just come upon this blog and am loving going through the posts.
~Silverstreak~
Thanks, Silverstreak! Nice of you to drop by. :)
ReplyDeleteAs far as Rebecca/Jenna's curls, she came that way! ;) I bought her secondhand from someone who kept her in great condition. I'll let you know what I do to take care of her curls when I actually have to do something with them! ;)
