Other Ideas for Hearts For Hearts Girls Outfits: Find Similarly-Sized Dolls with Cute Clothes! ;)

These past two weeks, in my never-ending quest to find other clothing options for the Hearts For Hearts Girls, I had two successes!  Both came from stealing the clothes from other dolls of similar sizes! ;)

My mom found this rather ugly doll from Disneyland resort at the thrift store.  We didn't care for the doll, but we both thought that her clothes might work for the H4H dolls.

I had also heard that some of the clothes from the Ty Girlz line fit the H4Hs.  When I was in Tuesday Morning, I found this gal for $4.99.  I loved her outfit, so I thought I'd give it a try ($4.99 for a nice doll outfit isn't bad!)

And here are the results.  Don't they look adorable? ;)

Unfortunately, the capris from the Ty Girlz doll were a bit snug.  As in, this was the closest I could get to closing them!

The shirt and sweatshirt fit wonderfully, though.  And then I remembered the really cute pair of Hawaiian pants from the Gymboree Gymbelles doll I had.  I thought the sweatshirt might be just the right color...and it was! :)

The only problem with this pair of pants is that Consuelo can't really sit down when she wears them.  She looks really cute standing in them, though! ;)

Just out of curiosity, I decided to try putting the hula girl crop top that came with the pants over the white tank top.  I love the little hula girl, but I'm not into crop tops.

I'm not sure I'm a fan of this look, especially since the tank top is white and the crop top is cream colored.

Anyway, I was very pleased to find a few extra things for our Hearts For Hearts Girls to wear.  I'm especially in love with the Disney Princess overalls!  Nahji is still wearing them. :)

  8. At my Target there's a brand called Circo. And they're 8 inch doll clothing actually fits the Heart 4 Heart girls! The shirts don't fit as well as the pants and skirts. I think they were 2.99

  10. Hi! I love your blog. I recently bought a handmade Barbie outfit on Etsy to use on my Pullip dolls, but it ended up being WAY too big. At first I wasn't sure what to do with the outfit, but on a whim, I tried it on my H4H Dell doll, and it fit PERFECTLY! And it's inexpensive! It's the "Pirate Costume" by seller FashionableBarbie (http://www.etsy.com/listing/101451216/), although it looks more like a gypsy costume. It has a ruffled white peasant top, a long purple skirt, and a coin-trimmed wrap to go around the doll's waist. (Apparently I neglected to read before purchasing that the seller makes her Barbie clothes slightly big on purpose so that kids have an easier time getting them on the doll.) Anyway, just wanted to pass it along! Keep up the great work -- I really enjoy your blog.

  12. I've found that some of the groovy girls doll clothes fit this size doll. You have to watch out for clothes with tight arm holes and around the hips, but many things fit well.
