One of the special gifts Oldest Gal received for her birthday was Dell's adorable "Come A-Callin'" Outfit. :) She doesn't have a Dell doll, but the dress looks adorable on her Consuelo. :)
This outfit is so cute! I have to say, I've never wanted a present of my daughter's this much...except for maybe Rahel's special outfit that Little Gal got for her birthday. :} I know...I'm a horrible mom! ;)
Here's a closer look at Dell's dress. The colors are pretty bright, but it totally works.
Here are Dell's dancing clogs. The ribbons used to tie them closed were hard for ME to tie, so these may provide some frustration for your little one if you decide to invest in these. Just plan on spending a lot of time tying them for little fingers. That, or you could buy some Velcro. :}
I love how they even included the "metal" parts underneath (they were actually made of plastic).
The outfit also came with this pretty flower hair band.
I LOVE this cute little cherry pie!
I thought it was a nice touch to make the pie and the pie plate separate. I would have appreciated that as a little girl. ;)
And check out this adorable thermos!
The lid is even removable! You can't open the white part like a real thermos, though. A smart move by the Playmate company. Not only would it be the first piece to get lost, but it would also provide a potential choking hazard.
And here is Dell's little canning jar (also made of plastic).
Hmm, they did make this tiny little lid removable, so maybe they could have gotten away with a removable thermos lid. ;)
I simply adore this set. I've been so impressed with all of the clothing and accessory sets from the Hearts 4 Hearts Girls so far. Everything is really cute and well-made. I can't wait to see the new products they release later this year! :D
I would definitely recommend this set for anyone with a Hearts For Hearts Girls doll, even if you don't have Dell. As you can see, Consuelo looks great in it too! ;)
I hope to keep plugging away at posts in the next couple of weeks. Claire, I have not forgotten you, despite what you may think! ;) I hope to have your requested "Why I'm a Stay-At-Home Mom" post up sometime this week. Of course, by the end of this week, when I've had all 3 girls at home with me at all times, I may be asking myself that very question! "Why on earth am I a stay-at-home mom?!!" ;)
It's going to take a while to get into the summer routine. I'm hoping that this summer I may actually succeed at becoming an organized mom (ha! That'll be the day!). Which potentially means regular blogging and regular writing time for my novels and a clean, organized house and consistent devotional time and happy kids that don't ever argue. Yeah...it doesn't hurt to dream a little, you know. ;)
Thanks for hanging in there with me, guys! You all mean so much to me. :)
I did enjoy this post! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, AuntLou! It's always nice to hear from you. :)
ReplyDeleteAw that dress set is so cute!! I love it. My consuelo Doll's eye will match the purple in the dress. -___- lol too bad about that huh?
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about that, Elliebob! :( I wish I knew what was going on. Have you tried contacting the company? They have a contact page on their website here (you'll have to copy and paste): http://hearts4heartsgirls.com/contact/
ReplyDeleteI'm sure in a situation like this where it's a defective product they'd work with you. Hope something works out! :)
Thats so cute! I especially love the little food and thermos. I heard that later H4H is releasing a red-headed one! I'm getting her ASAP!! ;)
