Hey everyone. I noticed that my playlist hadn't been working the last couple of days, so I checked Mixpod.com's website. Sadly, they've closed down their site, so that means I won't have music on my blog for a while. :(
It sounds like they'll eventually have information about transferring my playlists somewhere, so I'll keep you all posted. In the meantime, I'll have to find another place to make a playlist. Any suggestions?
I got the living room all decorated this past weekend, but I still have a bit of cleanup to do. Once that's done, I'll post some pics. :D
Hope you're all having a great week! :)
I may be one of the few, but I much prefer blogs without playlists and always have to shut it off when I visit, so I for one will be happier and visit more often now.
ReplyDeleteGood to know, Serenata. Thanks for your honest input. :)
ReplyDeleteI really loved your playlist, so I'm very sad to hear, that your blog will be airless. Can you write the titles of songs? Thanks
ReplyDeleteI too have to shut it off... I am usually multitasking and it bothers me.. but I love your blog :)
ReplyDeleteHi Gals! :)
ReplyDeleteBambuc, I'd love to do that in a later post so you can find them on your own. Mixpod.com used YouTube for their playlists, so maybe I could even link to the songs. I might not be able to remember them all, though. I can't access my playlist. I'll do my best, though. ;)
Kath, thanks for letting me know. It's been a while since I last surveyed people about my playlist and whether they liked it or not. Maybe having my playlist go kaput is a blessing in disguise. ;)
Perhaps I'm another of the few, but I don't prefer having a playlist on blogs I visit. Playlists make the page load more slowly. I like your blog, but I visit less often than I might otherwise.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the input, Desert Lily. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's disappointing - I love your playlist. I've actually added some of those songs to my own playlist I listen to when I dabble around online! When I do prefer not to listen to music for whatever reason when I'm on your blog, I just turn off my sound. Not that big of a deal in my opinion. :)
ReplyDeleteI've been reading your blog for quite a while and never commented, but wanted to chime in.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of playlists in general either, usually because I already have my own music on. However, I really liked a lot of the music on yours! I had never heard of Haley Westenra before, and now she's part of one of my Pandora stations. You also introduced me to the LOTR musical.
Maybe a different option could be to do occasional posts on some of your favorite songs, like you've done with Bollywood movies?
Thanks for letting me know your opinions, girls. I'm glad I've been able to introduce you to songs you weren't familiar with before. :)
ReplyDeletemystrygirl87, I like your idea. It's a great alternative to having a playlist, especially if I don't find a website I'm happy with. :) I'd already planned on doing a post sharing the songs I had on my previous list, but I like the idea of talking about some of my favorite songs more than once. :)
