Nahji and Consuelo
I loved the coloring on this one but realized that I captured Oldest Gal's legs in the background. ;)
Nahji and Buster. Buster is from Mel Birnkrant's "Play Along Club" doll line.
Hope you enjoyed the shoot! :) For the most part, I just let the pictures speak for themselves. I know, weird for me, right? ;)
Have a great week!
that is a cute dog!

Lovely!! I love Nahji in that beautiful white dress, she looks kinda like an angel. ;)
ReplyDeleteConsuelo with that shawl is just, gorgeous. I'm just speechless.
I actually have been waiting for a post regarding the H4H girls. I have two myself,Consuelo and Andrea Josephine(Dell) and they are probably one of my favorite types of dolls.
I wasn't sure which blog to ask this question on, but I was wondering why Nahji, nor Zelia or Consuelo have any posts or a blog? Now I definitely don't mean to sound critical, I love all three blogs, but maybe it would be cool to have a little addition.
If you can, that would be great, if not, that's perfectly fine too! I love reading all the adventures!!
Thanks,
Consuelo, Andi Jo, and Cachetes :]
Thanks, Olivia...I think so too. :)
ReplyDeleteCachetas, I'm glad you enjoyed the post so much. I love my Hearts For Hearts Girls too...they're some of my very favorites. :)
Unfortunately, I don't see a blog for them anytime in the near future. I get overwhelmed enough just trying to keep up with my three doll blogs and my personal blog (which I'm horribly behind on). I don't think I could handle it if I tried to add another.
I've also found that trying to come up with unique personalities for each doll can be a bit of a challenge. Right now, I just enjoy displaying and photographing these dolls. Maybe someday inspiration will strike and I'll come up with something. For now, though, this is what works best. I'll definitely plan on keeping them more in the limelight, though. :) I think they deserve a few more photoshoots. ;)
Ok! The girls and I will be looking forward to them!

This is kind of off subject. But what name do you think suits BFC ink. doll Addison. If i get her i'll probably rename her.
ReplyDeleteAmazing pictures!
ReplyDeleteAnd guess what...
This is the anonomys (I probably didn't spell that right :( ) com enter from all those Hearts4Hearts questions. I have a blog now!
Such wonderful pictures! You always know how to make these girls non-poseable bodies look natural! By the way, I really enjoyed your tutorial about doll photography. Personally, I use sunlight! And as I use only 12'' dolls, I guess that helps to find more suitable backgrounds. I like to use my own clothing!
ReplyDeleteWhere is Zelia?
ReplyDeleteThanks, everyone. :)
ReplyDeleteAdeleCupcake, congrats on starting your own blog. :)
MulanFan, great to hear from you. :) I'm glad you're enjoying the tutorial. It's definitely easier to find backgrounds for 12" dolls. ;) My yard has a few pretty spots and a lot of areas that need work. It can make it kind of tricky to find nice photo backdrops, but I manage. It's definitely easier with the 12 inchers, though. ;)
Jasmine, I actually brought Zelia out too, but I ended up just focusing on Consuelo and Nahji this time around. :)
Okay I was just wondering where her beautiful face was.
ReplyDeleteNo problem. :)
ReplyDeleteWhoops! Sorry, Abigail...I published your comment but forgot to respond to it. :}
ReplyDeleteThat's a good question. I have a hard time renaming the BFC Ink girls just because I tend to think of their given names when I look at them. It's hard enough renaming my AGs. ;)
A lot of times, when I can't figure out a name, I think of actors, characters, or historical figures I like who have similar looks and name the doll after them...
It's a start, at least. ;)
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. :)
