A Visual Guide to All of My Disney Belle Dolls

And now for a post that's been in the works for several months. ;)

This post contains pictures of all of my Disney Belle dolls to date.  This visual guide is a project I originally started on the Disney Doll Lover's Forum, but I thought it might be useful here as well.

My goal with these posts (I plan on doing posts for my Beast/Prince dolls, my Rapunzel dolls, and my Flynn/Eugene dolls as well) is to give the basic facts about each doll and share a few photos for reference and identification purposes.  These are not meant to be a definitive guide to each doll.  For each entry, I'll provide a photo of the front and back of the box (when applicable) and a close-up of their face.  I've decided to list them alphabetically to make them easier to find.

For your convenience, I've also started a Pinterest board of Disney Belle dolls I don't have yet.  You can see the board HERE. :)  Sadly, these are NOT in alphabetical order (I don't even think that's possible on Pinterest). :}

This post will grow and change as I add to my collection (and as I find photos from other willing collectors and sellers).  I hope you all find it fun and helpful. :)  As always, feel free to comment if you have any questions. :)

  1. So cool! I love your Deluxe Edition Belle!

  2. Crud. Now I want that 10th Anniversary Belle. And I truly don't need any more Belle dolls, or any Barbie type dolls at all.

    That Broadway Belle looks like she could fill in as Christine Daae.

  3. Thanks, Jordy. She's one of my very favorites, too. :) I got her shortly after the incredible Limited Edition Belle came out. (You can see a picture of her here: http://pinterest.com/pin/572097958885288496/ )

    I knew I wouldn't be able to afford the Limited Edition Belle, so I settled for Deluxe Belle instead. ;)

    Lol...sorry, Barb. ;) 10th Anniversary Belle is actually no longer a part of my collection. I did some downsizing last year and decided that I could part with her. I really loved her box and her outfit, but I felt that her face didn't look a thing like her. She's still quite stunning, though.

    Wow, I hadn't thought about it before, but you're absolutely right...Broadway Belle would make a perfect Christine!! :) All she'd need is her actual outfits from the play. :)

    Thanks for the link to your blog by the way. :) I would follow if I could figure out how. There doesn't seem to be a follow option. :( Any ideas?

  4. That's a lot of Belle dolls.

    Now I understand Belle (Bulletins) insecurirty!

    They are all very pretty. I noticed that just about all of them have green eyes.

  5. Thank you for wanting to follow my blog! Unfortunately, I checked just now, and I have to link a Follow option with my Google+ account. But right now I have separate Blogger and Google+ identities, and I don't know how to link them. I should probably ask Blogger on Google+.

  6. I take that back! I can apparently do a follow by email thing. I'm not sure how to get what you have. I still need to talk to Blogger.

  7. WOW! Those are some beautiful dolls! Personally, I can't seem to leave dolls in the box; I "need" to take them out and pose them on a shelf (;
    Can I make the suggestion of adding the original retail price of each doll to their profile? It's still a FANTABULOS post though... XD

  8. It seems like many of the Mattel Belles have gorgeous elaborate outfits. It's a pity they use the TNT body which can't share clothes with anything else. How many of these dolls do you still own? I can't wait to see the rest of the series, it's interesting to observe the many different takes of the same character.

  10. Princess Party Belle reminds me in a creepy similar way to Selena Gomez...

  11. I have the Holiday Princess, Signature, and Winter Dreams Belle dolls, and they are some of the favorites in my Barbie collection. I especially love the Holiday Princess one. :)

  12. Rose Grace: Yes, I suppose this post does make Belle's Bulletins make a lot more sense. ;) She's not nearly as fancy as some of these ones. ;)

    And yes, sadly Belle dolls often end up with green eyes. In all fairness, there is a touch of green to the movie color, but I would definitely classify them as brown eyes, not green. I have kind of mixed feelings about this because I have brown hair and green eyes, so the green eyed Belles look a bit more like me...which isn't exactly disappointing. ;) I'm a big stickler on movie accuracy, though. Variations on clothing I can understand...but you really should make your doll with the same hair, skin, and eye colors as the movie!!

    Barb: Sorry about that...I wish I could help you. Until you get it figured out, I'll take BlackKitty's suggestion and follow that way. :)

    BlackKitty: Unfortunately, when many of these Belle dolls were made, the TNT body was the only option. :} Some of the clothes still work on the newer Barbie-type fashion dolls; they're just a little loose.

    I no longer have 10th Anniversary Belle, Autumn Rose Belle, the second Classic Belle, Dress-Up Dream Belle, Fantasy Fashions Belle, Princess Party Belle, or Sparkling Belle (although I still have Sparkling Belle's dress). All of the other dolls are still in my collection.

    I hope to get to the other posts within the next several weeks. I agree...it's always fun to see the different variations on the same character. :)

    Thanks for the blog following tip, by the way. It's amazing that I've been blogging for three years and can still be so clueless. :}

    Anonymous, I'd never noticed the similarities, but I can see the resemblance. ;)

    Hayden, those are some of my very favorites, too. :) Although I'd have to add Broadway Belle and Deluxe Belle to that list. ;)

    Thanks for all of the lovely comments! :)

  13. Anonymous #1...sorry! Somehow I overlooked your comment in my responses. :{

    I have a hard time keeping my dolls in the boxes as well, but I've found that I get more overwhelmed when they're deboxed. I think part of this is because of Belle's Bulletins, my blog written by my Belle doll. Once a doll is deboxed, I somehow feel that she should be a part of the cast of characters. :}

    If I had a nice curio (with space left inside) where I could store all of my deboxed dolls, I would probably be more likely to debox them all. ;)

    I love your idea of including the original retail price. I think I could manage that for my Disney Store dolls, since the price is printed right on there. The other dolls will require a bit more digging, especially since I purchased most of them secondhand. I'll see what I can do... ;)

  14. So cool to see all the Belle dolls you have and to compare how the faces have changed many times on them :)

    I had Dazzling Princess Belle and Sparkling Belle when I was a little girl, I loved and played the heck outta them lol! I loved the Sparkling Belle because her dress was a close as I could to getting her amazing dress look alike dress she wears in the movie(It's my favorite Belle gown). I so would have loved to have Holiday Princess Belle, 2nd in Series and Autumn Rose Belle Doll, Since they were the more expensive Belle and had the outfits that were my favorite of the Belle looks.. But my parents would never pay the money for one haha!

  15. I am in love with your 2012 Disney store Belle doll!
    I can't believe you can keep dolls in their boxes. I can't do that at all, I always want to touch the doll and play with their hair. Lol
    None of the Mattel Belle dolls look a thing like her.

  16. I loved both Dazzling Princess Belle and Sparkling Belle myself. I remember being so excited that Sparkling Belle was in that dress as well. It was the first time in a long time that they'd released her in her "pink" dress, although it was more red. ;)

    Yeah, my parents didn't have more expensive dolls in the budget, so most of these are from my adult collection. ;)

    Hi Sunny. :) I wasn't too thrilled with 2012 Belle at first, but she's growing on me. ;)

    It's definitely a challenge to keep the dolls in their boxes (especially after watching the Toy Story movies). ;) I open my yearly Disney Store ones, though, so I think that helps...at least I get to open SOME of the boxes. ;)

    A lot of the earlier Mattel ones don't necessarily look like Belle, but some of them do. When I was growing up in the early 90s, Mattel used to make the best Disney dolls and the Disney Store ones looked nothing like the characters. Now things have changed...I much prefer Disney Store dolls to the Mattel versions. :)

  17. I love Belle, that's how I found your blog, searching for a review on a Belle doll! I enjoyed seeing so many different versions of her together. I think Sparkling Belle has the most beautiful face of them all, even though I love the dolls in the traditional yellow/gold ball gowns the best.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I always liked Sparkling Belle's gentle face. :)

    It's always great to find another Belle fan out there, too! :D

  19. You do have Winter Dreams Belle! I've had her for a very short time, but she's so beautiful that she is steadily becoming one of my all time favorite Disney Dolls- I love her serene expression. Mine is named Cornelia. :)

  20. Winter Dreams Belle is lovely. I actually ended up letting her go about a year ago when I needed to downsize a bit. I'm glad I still have these pictures to remember her by. :) It was a tough decision, but I found that I preferred my Holiday Princess Belle.
