Hey guys! Hope you're having a happy Tuesday. I'm still under the weather over here, but wanted to pop in and let all of you early Christmas shoppers know about some fun deals this week. :)
First off, Americangirl.com has a "Season's Savings" Sale going on right now. Several items are up to 30% off, including some Molly and Emily outfits (Molly and Emily are being archived this year). The sale lasts until November 17th, and on November 18th new items will be on sale. You'll definitely want to just check in weekly with American Girl from now 'til Christmas, just in case. ;) You can see all of the sale items HERE.
I used part of my gift card from The Doll Wardrobe Photography Contest to purchase Emily's Holiday Outfit. I was short one fancy dress for the Christmas season, so now all of my girls will be nice and dressed up for the holidays. :)
Another promotion that will interest fans of The Zelfs is at Toysrus.com (thanks, Michele, for the heads up). ;) Buy one medium Zelf at $5.99, get the second Zelf free. :) This promotion is only good on the medium Zelfs, and it only works once (for example, you can't put four Zelfs in your cart and get two of them for free). Customers are limited to one of each medium Zelf per purchase (so no buying twenty four Elfas). ;)
I was also excited to see that the Lil' Zelf Greenhouse set is on sale for $19.99 instead of $29.99. This is a great deal. You get eighteen Lil' Zelfs for a little over $1 each, and you know exactly which ones you're getting. Plus, you get five exclusive glow in the dark Zelfs. :) To buy the "blind bag" Lil' Zelfs costs you $2.99 each.
I couldn't find any information on how long this particular sale lasts. I'm hoping it lasts 'til the end of the week. Once payday rolls around, I'd love to snag a Lil' Zelfs Greenhouse, an Elfa, and a Flamy. ;)
I also wanted to mention that a new Toys R Us exclusive Zelf, the "Color My Zelf", is now available online for $19.99. I believe she is around 13 inches tall, and comes with markers and stickers to decorate with. :) She appears to be a larger version of the Elfa/Miss Clover mold (minus the wings) with rainbow colored hair. :) I was thinking it would be fun to try using paint to decorate her instead of the markers. :)
Meanwhile, over at Disneystore.com, there is a "Buy One, Get One for $1" promotion on select plush items. Unlike Toys R Us, as long as you buy them in multiples of two, you can use the promotion more than once. There are some really cute plush characters available, including Sofia the First, Disney Princess, Monsters University, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and more. You can see all of the plush toys included in the sale HERE.
I think that's all for now. I'll try to continue to share these special discounts as I hear of them. I know we all appreciate a great sale, especially with Christmas just around the corner. :)
I hope to have at least one more "real" post up later this week...blogging has been rather difficult with the way I've been feeling. :}
Until next time...have a great week and Happy Shopping! :)
Do you know if the Disney BOGO plush deal includes in-store purchases? We have a Disney at our local mall, and my sisters and I would definitely want to take advantage of that deal-- but we'd want to pick them out in person (got to make sure he's got the perfect face!).
ReplyDeleteThree of us have become hooked on "Phineas and Ferb" and have been meaning to pick up some "Agent P" beanbags for a while now, so this would be great! :D
Thank you!
--Kate :)
Hi Kate! I just checked the details, and it looks like it covers online, in store, and phone orders. Have fun picking out your special plushies! :)
ReplyDeleteI am trying to convince my mother to buy me and my brother each one of the mini plush Stitch's. We both have a soft spot for Lilo and Stitch, and if only one of us gets one, well, it might not end well. jk,
ReplyDeleteI need help identifying a MLP. She is a G1, and she is smaller than the other G1s in my (and my mom's)collection. She has very long legs, and she used to have wings, but the were snap-ons and came of. she is blue, with blue hair, and a pink flower on her forehead. her cutie mark is seven pink flowers, seven on each flank. her hair is curly, but that may have come from being washed in human bath soap when I was a really little kid. Please help, she is my second favorite pony!
ReplyDelete- Anonymous A.
It sounds like a Flutter Pony named Peach Blossom. Does this look like her? http://www.ebay.com/itm/G1-VINTAGE-MY-LITTLE-PONY-FLUTTER-PONY-PEACH-BLOSSOM-PUFFY-STICKER-PICK-WINGS-/290934189942?pt=UK_Toys_Creative_Educational_RL&hash=item43bd076f76&nma=true&si=DkYz8VRY6j7W86PSNH4nFhgoyP4%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557
ReplyDeleteI originally found her on Strawberryreef.com. Any time you need to identify an unknown pony, I would highly recommend checking this site. :)
I might use these! :D Thanks! Also, my school's production of "The Wizard of Oz" I am in has its first performance tomorrow. I'm in the Gala chorus, which means we get onstage before the show and sing semi-related songs. This year's Gala chorus is doing "One Short Day," "Popular," "For Good," and "Defying Gravity" from Wicked! :) We sound pretty good! I'm excited. Bye!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds fun, misspiggy=awesome! :) Enjoy yourself! :)

Just found out that tomorrow starting at 3pm until Saturday 3pm, the color my Zelf will be on sale. If you check their weekly ads online you'll find a coupon for 25% off the door-busters (that Zelf is one of them). So the color my Zelf with coupon is $11.24 (instead of the regular $19.99 price). :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. I totally forgot to mention last time that I got my adorable lalaloopsy mini. Thanks again for the wonderful give away! :)
Thanks again, Samantha. :) And you're totally welcome. I'm glad you're enjoying her. :)
ReplyDeleteI was just looking up season 4 of mlp and was looking at an episode list and have just found out that David Remnant is rumoured to be guest starring in an episode plus discord coming back as it seems!!! Looking forward to it, not long now!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Caitlin! Good to hear from you again. :)
ReplyDeleteDid you mean David Tennant? That would be awesome!! I'm really looking forward to MLP Season 4. :)
Hi my name is Sabrina! I have been reading your blog for a long time but never commented. Well I will be commenting now
ReplyDeleteHi Sabrina! Nice to meet you. :) Thanks for commenting. :)
ReplyDeletethis is my first christmas season shopping with american girl. from past years, do they offer discounts on the dolls themselves for black friday or any other promotion? just wondering if i should hold out or go ahead and bite the bullet. thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Bri,
ReplyDeleteI would at least wait until after Cyber Monday...they usually have some pretty amazing sales then.
Also, last year in December, they had an unprecedented amazing sale on Cecile and Marie-Grace...they were less than half the price! I don't know if they'll do that again, but I'll try to get info on here if they do.
A great resource for information about sales and promotions from AG is agplaythings.proboards.com. You have to become a member, but there is all sorts of valuable information to be found there. :)
Hope this helps!
thanks so much for your help. i signed up for an account and will check there often. one last question: does AG ever offer sales on the My American Girl? I am after #55. :)
ReplyDeletealso, just read your recent post, and i am happy to hear your husband is well. God bless you and your family.
ps... love your blog
Glad to help! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen too many sales on the My AGs. Probably the best offer you'd get on one of those would be a free shipping offer, but you never know! :)
Thanks, I'm so grateful that he's okay. :) Glad you're enjoying the blog, too!
