Hey everyone! It's been one of those nonstop weeks this week. My husband's sister and brother-in-law (and one of their sons) are here visiting from South Dakota for the week, and my husband's other sister and daughters will be moving to Kansas within the next week or so (her husband is already there looking for a house). As you can imagine, we're spending as much time together as we can this week. Today, we're going on a day trip to the camp that Hubby's family used to go to every year.
I've had a wonderful time catching up with family this week, but my blogging has been a little sparse as a result, as I'm sure you all noticed. ;) I don't have time for a full post right now, but thought I'd leave you with another "kid quote of the day". ;)
We were all sitting at the table for breakfast, when Oldest Gal had a question for Little Gal.
OG (holding up Little Gal's Elsa fashion doll, who is only wearing capris): "[Little Gal], why isn't Elsa wearing a shirt?"
LG: "Because I couldn't find one that was modest!! They were all showing her tummy!"
Never a dull moment in the Never Grow Up house. ;)
I'll be back with a Belle doll review later this week! :)
Modest, lol...you are raising good little girls! :)
ReplyDeleteLife never gets boring with your little gals. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to the Belle review :)
Beast'sBelle, do you watch My Froggy Stuff on YouTube? She's awesome, and look at what her latest video is!

This makes me too geeky happy for words... XD
Allons-y!

Kate, I just saw this review last night and shared it on my Facebook page! :) I think I should definitely try it out. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat was too funny! Did LG realize the irony after she said it?
ReplyDeleteAww! That's so cute!:)

ReplyDeleteBlackKitty, she didn't really get it until we laughed at her adorableness and explained. She was a little upset that we were laughing at her at first, so I took her aside and cuddled her and explained that we were laughing because we loved her and thought she was cute, not because we were making fun of her. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Nina. :)
Hi Anonymous! Glad you're enjoying the blog. ;)
I wouldn't have been able to keep a straight face either! The innocence of children is definitely something to be treasured, especially when it ends up being that hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI agree, Mark. :) I love writing stuff like this down, too, because it's easy to forget if you don't.
