Hearts 4 Hearts Consuelo Doll

As I mentioned before, we got my oldest daughter Consuelo for Christmas.  She was so excited!! :)  I thought I'd share a few pictures of this beautiful doll.

Consuelo's Box

Lovely Consuelo

The bracelet she came with has a blue charm, which is perfect since my daughter's favorite color is blue. :)

A close-up of her pretty earring.

Another shot of her pretty face.

I love my Nahji doll, but I have to say that Consuelo is absolutely stunning.

She's also photogenic from every angle:

Colorful Bracelets

Consuelo's pretty shoes.   They originally came with pink ribbon ties at the ankles (similar to ballet shoes), but my daughter was having a really hard time keeping them tied.  The ribbon was just short enough that it was difficult for me to tie them as well, so off they came!  The good news is that the ribbons were not glued or sewn on, and the holes that held the ribbons were so tiny that you don't even notice them.  The shoes stay on just fine without the ribbon, too.

Consuelo's pretty blue skirt.  It has an annoying habit of crawling up until it's really short, but my daughter loves changing her clothes anyway, so it works out okay.

Close up of the detail on her collar.

Consuelo's hair is really silky, although it's got a little more texture to it than Nahji's.  The layering in the back could have been better, but she still looks lovely.

Here's Consuelo with her new friend Nahji. :)

I also wanted to take a picture of Consuelo with Elena (FKA Pita), my Karito Kids doll.

It's funny, they're both supposed to be from Mexico, but to me, Elena almost looks more oriental, especially next to Consuelo.

Both of them are very beautiful dolls.

I would definitely recommend Consuelo.  For a younger child, though, I would suggest removing the ribbons on her shoes, as they only lead to frustration! :}  Other than that, she is a sweet little doll with low maintenance hair and is just the right size for little hands. :)

  2. Hi DollMum, great to hear from you. :) Sorry I didn't mention her size...I meant to. It must be post-Christmas brain freeze. :}

Consuelo is about 14 inches tall, and my Karito Kid is just a little taller than an American Girl, about 19 inches or so.

  7. Is there any more clothes we can buy for Consuelo other than the Hearts for Hearts clothes? BT

  8. Hi, BT. If you have any of the "Faith and Friends" doll shirts or skirts, they will fit as well (the pants and tights don't fit correctly). Unfortunately, these dolls are no longer being made, so if you don't have the clothes already, you'll have to find them on the secondary market.

You could also check eBay for handmade 14" Helen Kish doll clothes (I found some Christmas dresses for my daughters' 14" dolls that way one year).

That's about all I cam think of for now. If I come up with any other ideas, I'll let you know. :)

  9. Hi! Just got her then decided to see if you like her. I think I like your Nahji better. Although I don't like the one in the store as much
