Frozen Blog Party: The Questions

Ah, after a long day of art classes, there's nothing like sitting in the living room, watching a brand new Disney Blu-ray ("Frozen", of course) with my girls. :)  We had a great time watching it earlier this evening. :)  I'll be doing a review of the Blu-ray/DVD Combo pack later in the week as part of the blog party.

For now, though, I'd like to get the blog party questions up.  This is a fun activity open to anyone who would like to participate.  Those of you who decide to answer the questions, please leave a comment on this post with a link to your answers on your blog or other online site.  A big part of the fun is getting to read all of the different answers to the questions and making new friends. ;)

If you don't have a blog or a website of your own but would like to participate, feel free to leave your answers in the comments below. :)

   1. Who is your favorite Frozen character (or characters) and why?

   2. Which is your favorite Frozen song (or songs) and why?

   3. If you could make one change to the movie, what would it be?

   4. Would you want to see a Frozen sequel?  What would you want it to be about?

   5.  Ice Palace or Arendelle Castle?

   6.  If you could choose a sidekick from the movie, would you choose Sven or Olaf?  Why?

   7.  Do you think all men pick their noses, as Kristoff claimed?

   8. Which Frozen character is the most like you (or the one you relate to most) and why?

   9.  How many times have you seen Frozen so far?

  10.  In keeping with my overall blog theme, ;) which of the Frozen dolls that have been released is your favorite?  (e.g. the Disney Store fashion dolls, Disney Store Disney Animator's Collection and Toddler dolls, Limited Edition Disney Store dolls, Mattel dolls, etc)

I hope you have fun answering the questions.  If you'd like to just choose a few instead of doing all ten, feel free to do so...I know it can be overwhelming to do that many questions sometimes. :}

Stay tuned for my blog party giveaway post, coming up next! :)

  3. 1. Who is your favorite Frozen character (or characters) and why?

Anna, I thought she had just the greatest lines in the movie! She always made me laugh.

    2. Which is your favorite Frozen song (or songs) and why?

That is so hard! The music in this movie is all great! Though I think the song that puts a smile on my face the most is "Do you wanna build a snowman." The young Anna voice actresses were so cute!

    3. If you could make one change to the movie, what would it be?

Making Hans a bad guy! I was so disappointed when they did that! It felt like such a lazy move to get him out of the picture. Like oh just make him a villain. He didn't NEED to be a villain in my opinion. He would have been such a cool character if they just kept him as the quirky guy that was just like Anna. She could have just let him down easily. It would have been better that way I think. Maybe I just really liked the character before they did that. Love is an open dooorr~

    4. Would you want to see a Frozen sequel? What would you want it to be about?

I'm not exactly sure. It's such a lovely movie as it is, I'm sure I would go and see the sequel and be happy if one came out, but it doesn't need one. It's really hard to guess what it might be about. They would need to make up another story line for it because there isn't an obvious sequel in sight. They could go the "children of the heros" route but that could be good or bad. I know I really loved the Lion King 2 and it had that kind of story.

    5. Ice Palace or Arendelle Castle?

I think the Arendelle castle! I get chilly too easily.

    6. If you could choose a sidekick from the movie, would you choose Sven or Olaf? Why?

Sven! He's a Reindeer! That is so cool! Maybe he can fly ;)Olaf is good too but if he gets warm he'll melt! That's too sad!

    7. Do you think all men pick their noses, as Kristoff claimed?

Nah I'm sure not all of them do! Though I don't know that much about men.

    8. Which Frozen character is the most like you (or the one you relate to most) and why?

Anna! I always felt like I understood all her motives perfectly! My friend and I feel so much like Anna and Elsa that we dressed up as them a few times. (I as Anna and she as Elsa)

    9. How many times have you seen Frozen so far?

Maybe 5 I think, and counting! Though that isn't counting how many times I've heard the songs!

Oh I have such a soft spot for the DAC dolls! Anna's has the sweetest little duck bill smile.

  6. 1. Who is your favorite Frozen character (or characters) and why?

Definitely Olaf! Although it's kind of a tie, because I love Anna and Elsa too!

    2. Which is your favorite Frozen song (or songs) and why?

Let It Go! Because Idina Menzel, duh. Also its just incredibly fantastic.

    3. If you could make one change to the movie, what would it be?

    More character development on Elsa.

    4. Would you want to see a Frozen sequel? What would you want it to be about?

No, I think it doesn't need one. But I'm excited for the Broadway musical and more music.

    5. Ice Palace or Arendelle Castle?

    Ice Palace!

    6. If you could choose a sidekick from the movie, would you choose Sven or Olaf? Why?

Oh man. Tough. Probably Olaf because he's so fun.

    7. Do you think all men pick their noses, as Kristoff claimed?

    Ha! Yes!

    8. Which Frozen character is the most like you (or the one you relate to most) and why?

Probably Elsa. Because I used to hide who I was inside for years and years, and finally got comfortable with myself and now I'm strong and confident :).

    9. How many times have you seen Frozen so far?

Only once but my copy is coming in the mail!!

I only have the Disney Store versions of Elsa and Anna, and I love them. I want the Toddler dolls though.

  7. Here are some answers from "Riseofthebravetangleddragons":

My favorite character from Frozen is Hans probably because I have a thing for the villans, my favorite song is LET IT GOOOOOOOOOO!,my one change is actually from tumblr and Hans could have fire powers. A-W-E-S-O-M-E, Ice Palace,Olaf because we could all use a talking snowman,No, Anna because we are both impatient at times and are a bit silly,2, and the Hans and Anna Disney store dolls and the Mattel versions mainly because I've seen so many pictures of them.

    ReplyDelete
  8. 1. Anna!

    2. Do you want to build a snowman? Because it shows Anna's point of view about Elsa and how she shut her away,Let I go because it shows Elsa point of view of being free, and I love the dress and the ice palace

    3. Make it so Anna had Fire powers she never told Elsa about (Yay,sequal!)

    4. Would you want to see a Frozen sequel? What would you want it to be about? I just answered this haha. Of course! Anna has fire powers that she finnaly tells Elsa about, oh oh oh! And she and kristoff get married :)

    5. The castle, ice palace sound to chilly

    6. Olaf,he'd make me smile! Talking snowman power!

    7. Do you think all men pick their noses, as Kristoff claimed?
    ...maybe...Kristoff is pretty trustworthy...

    8. None of them, I really can't think of anything :) I guess I'll go with stvn because I'm so grumpy ;)

    9. One

    10. Disney Animator's Anna doll

    ReplyDelete
  9. I have a Tumblr account, but it's RP. Hee.

    1. Who is your favorite Frozen character (or characters) and why?

That's a tough choice, actually. I think I'd have to say Kristoff. I think it's for the same reason why Eugene's my overall favorite: because he's very abrasive at first but is actually kind of squishy.

    2. Which is your favorite Frozen song (or songs) and why?

Well, though "Let It Go" has been stuck in my head on and off for months now, I actually think the Frozen Heart at the beginning is my favorite.

    3. If you could make one change to the movie, what would it be?

The solution to everything felt a bit abrupt. At the very least, I would have like to have seen the implication that while the problem was solved for then, there would be work still to get things under control.

    4. Would you want to see a Frozen sequel? What would you want it to be about?

I wouldn't mind it, but it feels things were wrapped up relatively okay. If there was, I wouldn't mind them showing my above concerns. (Of course, would this be Toy Story level good, or direct to video old Disney movie level good in terms of sequels?)

    5. Ice Palace or Arendelle Castle?

Pfff, both are too cold for me. Give me that summer oasis Olaf sang about!

    6. If you could choose a sidekick from the movie, would you choose Sven or Olaf? Why?

That's a tricky question as well. Do I want a reindeer who probably only listens to one person, or a snowman who would melt in my preferred months of summer? Hmm.

    7. Do you think all men pick their noses, as Kristoff claimed?

Yes, but not eat them. ...Actually, maybe.

    8. Which Frozen character is the most like you (or the one you relate to most) and why?

    Elsa for her anxiety.

    9. How many times have you seen Frozen so far?

Let's see. I was visiting Australia when it came out so I was a month late in seeing it. So only about four times total in theater?

Oh my gosh. The little Animator Collector's Kristoff is so beyond adorable. Hands down my favorite so far. And gives me hope for future male Disney stars.

  14. Hi Benny! Thanks for stopping by. I think this is one of the best movies to come from Disney in a very long time. :) I really enjoyed Tangled and Wreck-it-Ralph, but this one set the bar even higher, in my opinion.

It's a great movie to see even if you don't watch it with kiddos. My first time, I went by myself. Of course, I love animated films more than movies for my target age, so I'm not necessarily the best judge. ;)

  19. I'm going to answer the questions here, since I don't really update my blog anymore. :}

    1. Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and on a day when I think about how great Santino Fontana is, Hans. Actually, all the characters. Yep.

    2. All of them! Seriously, a definite favorite is really hard to choose. :) I sing "Let It Go" and "For the First Time in Forever" the most, though.

    3. Well, it kind of ties in with a headcanon I saw online. Basically, the headcanon said that when the trolls sang "Get the fiance out of the way!" in "Fixer-Upper, they actually meant it...and did something to Hans (don't ask me how they found them, I don't like getting too technical with headcanons! :)) so that he became cold and cruel to Anna. And Hans' real love for Anna are trapped inside his mind because he has been changed. (Can you tell that I really wanted Hans to be good? Although, I do really love Kristoff and Anna together, so that makes this slightly complicated, doesn't it?)

    4. I don't think I would (unless the troll theory was actually canon, but even with that, I don't think there should be one). I would, however, love to see the characters in short films, like Disney (and Pixar, for the latter two) did with Tangled, Toy Story, and Cars.

    5. Arendelle Castle!

    6. Olaf - I think he'd be quite nice when I need a laugh. :)

    7. Most men. Not all, but most. (Can you imagine Mr. Darcy doing that? I can't!) ;)

    8. I relate equally to Anna and Elsa - Anna for her awkwardness and klutziness, as well as her tendency to just blurt things out. I relate to Elsa because I feel like Elsa's ice powers and her desire to keep them hidden represents my own struggle with anxiety (it's not as severe as the anxiety that many people have, but nonetheless it's there). So, "Let It Go" has been a good song to sing if I want to get things out. (It's quite effective, actually...)

    9. Five! Twice in the theater, once at a birthday party (this was after it was released digitally, so I promise it wasn't illegal! :)), and then twice at my house since I bought it digitally.

    10. I really love the LE Disney Store dolls and the 12" Disney Store fashion dolls. I've got two of the fashion dolls - Hans (given to me at Christmas as a joke because of my crush on Santino) and Anna (who is in the mail). Now, if only they'd restock Kristoff and Elsa, then I'd have the whole set...

Thanks for doing this blog party! The questions were really fun. :)

  20. Oh, and I think I qualify already for the giveaway, but please don't count me in for it - I already won your Tess and Maggie blogoversary giveaway (in 2012, I think), so I'll let the prize go to someone who hasn't won from you yet. :)

  21. Claire, it's so great to hear from you again. :) I loved your answers. I especially found the troll/Hans headcanon interesting...that's one I haven't heard before! I'd love that one completely if it weren't for the fact that it would make the trolls kind of evil, and they were basically Kristoff's family. Hmm, as much as I would love for Hans to be not as bad of a guy as he was, like you, I love Kristoff, so I think I'd probably keep things the way they are. :}

That's very sweet of you to save the prizes for someone else. :) Have a great day!

  22. 1. Who is your favorite Frozen character (or characters) and why?

Kristoff= He is such a sweetheart and he reminds me a lot of my fiance. I love that he put Anna first before himself and he is soooo adorable!

Hans= I know, shocking! I do not think he is my favorite but I do appreciate him. I agree that he is a very mean jerk but I believe his character shows children to be careful about trusting nice strangers who appear to be harmless.

Elsa= She is beautiful and reminds me of how I was so fearful and lost in my life before devoting myself to the Lord again. My heart reached out to her and seeing her happy in the end makes me a bit tearful.

    2. Which is your favorite Frozen song (or songs) and why?

Let it go! Let it go!!!!!!! It is just so upbeat and happy that I can't help but smile and picture Elsa's clothing change when I hear it!

    3. If you could make one change to the movie, what would it be?

I would love to know how Elsa became cursed.

    4. Would you want to see a Frozen sequel? What would you want it to be about?
No. Sequel's can never compare to the originals.

    5. Ice Palace or Arendelle Castle?

    The castle! :D

    6. If you could choose a sidekick from the movie, would you choose Sven or Olaf? Why?

Sven because I would love to ride a reindeer!

    7. Do you think all men pick their noses, as Kristoff claimed?

    Yes!

    8. Which Frozen character is the most like you (or the one you relate to most) and why?

    Elsa= see question 1.

    9. How many times have you seen Frozen so far?

Twice but the Let it Go scene about 20x on Youtube lol!

Disney store fashion dolls and the big Elsa one that lights up!

  23. 1. Anna and Elsa. They are the main characters, plus their personalities are so different from each other, it's hard to choose one girl over the other, so both!

    2. (actually mine is one of the deleted songs... it's really charming)
ummm... First Time in Forever because you really get how Anna has been 'trapped' in the castle her whole life (and Elsa also sings...). :)

    3. Olaf would be a smaller part (or not there at all). And maybe Elsa gets a guy, too. <3

    4. YES. Anna actually has super strength and she discovers it by surprise while helping Kristoff with his ice business (or something like that). ;)

    5. Arendelle Castle, I want to explore! Also I don't want my palace to start melting while I'm in it. :D

6.Sven, I don't really like Olaf he annoys me and I don't want my sidekick to melt on me either. ;)

    7. I don't know, it seems, no it is really gross, but I'm not a guy so... I don't know.

    8. Anna I guess. I believe in true love, I'm a little naive, and I'm sweet and caring with a curious spirit of adventure. ;) :) <3

    9. 2 1/2 I know, not very good... And I call myself a Disney fan... ;)

    10. The Disney Animator's Collection Anna, Elsa, & Kristoff! <3 <3 <3

  25. I am so sorry I haven't responded to your posts in so long beastsbelle! I saw your blog party and just had to try it since Frozen is one of my favorite Disney movies (along with Brave and Beauty and the Beast). ;) Hope you like my feedback! Anyways, onto the questions:

    1. My favorite Frozen character has to be Elsa. I love her absolute strength and independence. She is also gorgeous and I love her way of letting go and letting the past not keep her in chains.

    2. Let It Go is not only my favorite Frozen song, but my favorite Disney song of all time. I love the independence shown. Plus, Idina's voice is beautiful and she sings Defying Gravity, my favorite Broadway song.

    3. Was it just me or does anybody else think the trolls were just thrown in? I get they had to heal baby Anna, but it would've made more sense if there was a couple of witches that took care of Kristoff.

    4. Maybe I would enjoy a well-done Frozen sequel, but I wouldn't know what it would be. The movie ended so well I don't know where they would pick up.

    5. Ice Palace! It's gorgeous and I love Elsa. ;D

    6. Olaf since he's so cute and funny. I would love someone to give me warm hugs, and with Olaf, he'll be given many of them. ;)

    7. Maybe.....

    8. Elsa since her and I are very independent and loveee chocolate. I also believe we are reserved and less likely to speak out.

    9. Once. *sobs*

    10. I loved the classic dolls, they look so much like the characters.

    ReplyDelete
  26. 1. Who is your favorite Frozen character (or characters) and why?
I really love them all. My favorite is probably Elsa or Olaf or Anna. Elsa is so strong, Anna is o selfless, and Olaf is...well, Olaf. :)

    2. Which is your favorite Frozen song (or songs) and why?
I love Let It Go, Do You Wanna Build a Snowman, and For the First Time in Forever (reprise).

    3. If you could make one change to the movie, what would it be?
Maybe have a little more Olaf? Or somehow explain how Elsa's power came to be.

    4. Would you want to see a Frozen sequel? What would you want it to be about?
Yes, but it HAS to be well done. I think a movie with real people would be neat. Ah, a girl can dream, right?

    5. Ice Palace or Arendelle Castle? Ice Palace! That's a no brainer!

    6. If you could choose a sidekick from the movie, would you choose Sven or Olaf? Why? Olaf...he is funny and a talking snowman.

    7. Do you think all men pick their noses, as Kristoff claimed? I have speculations on many, maybe not all, however.

    8. Which Frozen character is the most like you (or the one you relate to most) and why? I feel like I relate to Anna. She wakes up with mess hair ad loves chocolate. Of course, who doesn't?

    9. How many times have you seen Frozen so far? This is embarrassing, but I lost count after 11 times...

    10. In keeping with my overall blog theme, ;) which of the Frozen dolls that have been released is your favorite? (e.g. the Disney Store fashion dolls, Disney Store Disney Animator's Collection and Toddler dolls, Limited Edition Disney Store dolls, Mattel dolls, etc)Probably the Limited Edition Disney Store dolls, but the Disney store ones are my favorites in general. Mattel doesn't do the best job, in my own personal honest opinion.

    That was fun! Thanks!
