Hey guys! Just a quick update. A few of the Frozen dolls and toys are back in stock on Disneystore.com are back in stock. They were just restocked this morning, and stuff is already selling out. At this point, Anna and Elsa classic dolls are still available. Get 'em quick! They won't last long! You can see all of the Frozen merchandise HERE. I think we finally got Little Gal's Elsa and Oldest Gal's Kristoff, but I'm not going to count on anything until they're shipped and on their way. :} Kristoff sold out right after I placed my order, so I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make it. :{
There's also a bonus 40% off of select items going on right now, using promo code BONUS40. To see all of the items that qualify, click HERE.
Happy quick shopping! ;)
Elsa is sold out too!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry...I knew it would be fast. :(
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks so much for the head's up. I have been constantly checking the Disney site looking for Frozen dolls, and I was finally able to grab Anna! Now I just have to go back on the hunt for Elsa... :p
ReplyDeleteSo glad I could help! :) My mom and I have been checking it constantly every day, so I figured there were others out there like us. ;)
ReplyDeleteHope you're able to get your Elsa soon!
Ugh, I missed out again! :/ I want these dolls so much, and there's not even a local Disney store near me. I have to shop online.
ReplyDeleteI don't have either of the dolls. I really want Elsa, but would settle for getting my paws on Anna. I hope that I'll be able to get them sometime...
I'm so sorry you missed these! :( I feel your pain...I've been trying to get ahold of an Elsa and a Kristoff for my girls since January, and I finally succeeded today (as long as I don't get a cancellation via email...it's been known to happen). :(
ReplyDeleteI think they're still planning on getting more stock in. I'll try to announce it here whenever I see it! Hopefully one of these times you'll be able to snag them. :)
With the way they're constantly selling out, a part of me is wondering if maybe they're doing it on purpose >< My friend looked at the site a few hours after they had restocked and they were already sold out of a few items, and she was sad she couldn't get the baby sven plushie.
ReplyDeleteI kind of thought that at first, but I honestly don't think it's on purpose. They could be making a killing right now if they had enough stock, and they're usually super on top of things. I think they just had no idea how big Frozen would be, and they haven't been able to catch up since the frenzy started. Think of how much they're losing to the secondhand markets like eBay.
ReplyDeleteIf it does happen to be a marketing ploy, I think it's going to hurt them in the end. There are a lot of people who are REALLY unhappy with them right now...
I managed to snag one of the figurine sets for Pieface's upcoming birthday - the Disney figures tend to have crossover adventures with the mini My Little Ponies!
ReplyDeleteI do think Disney seriously underestimated the demand - the last two big releases they had were for Monsters University and Planes, neither of moved a lot of merchandise. I imagine they decided to keep their stock on the conservative side for Frozen...and then that blew up on them.
(Part of me wishes I had the time to sew lots of little-girl-sized Elsa gowns - I could be making a mint on Etsy! :D)
So glad you were able to grab something fun for Pie's birthday, Jen. :)
ReplyDeleteI think your theory makes a lot of sense. I can understand how they wouldn't want to take their chances with leftover stock. Of course, Frozen was WAY better than Monster's U. or Planes, so I'm not surprised the demand has been higher (just my humble opinion). ;)
I've just never seen them get behind for this long. The worse issue I can remember was the first Designer Princess release, when the site crashed and everyone was swooping up the dolls within minutes...but that was pretty much a one day thing. It's crazy how long the lack of Frozen stock has lasted. They were already sold out of almost everything when we went on the girls' birthday trip in January!
LOL, part of me wishes I could justify selling Frozen fan art on Etsy for the same reason!! I just don't want to have to worry about copyright issues. ;)
