First off, Princess Luna, Princess Cadance, and Shining Armor are all currently available at Build-A-Bear's website. Luna and Cadance will also be available in stores, but Shining Armor is a web exclusive.

Luna is priced at $27 for just the pony with no accessories.

Cadance is $25 by herself...

... and Shining Armor is $36.
I believe he is priced higher because he comes with his wedding jacket (there is not an option to buy just the pony himself).
You can see all of the current MLP items and friends available HERE.
I just ordered a Shining Armor for myself. :D Between the two gift cards I purchased on our birthday trip and my Stuff Fur Stuff rewards, he only cost me $13. I can't wait 'til he gets here! :D "A Canterlot Wedding" remains one of my favorite episodes to this day, and Shining Armor is one of my favorite secondary MLP characters. Eventually, I'd love to get Princess Cadance, too. (And who else is hoping they eventually do a Big McIntosh?) :D
Build-A-Bear is also doing one of their gift card promos again (the same promo I took advantage of on the trip). If you spend at least $25, you can get a $10 Build-A-Bear gift card for just $5. You can choose either a physical gift card or an online one. This is a great way to give yourself a discount on a future Build-A-Bear purchase. :)
In other news, the Mattel Cinderella dolls are on sale at ToysRUs' website. Royal Ball Cinderella is down to $31.99 from $39.99, and Wedding Day Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother, and Lady Tremaine are down to $19.99 instead of $24.99. It looks like the costumes and accessories from the movie are on sale, too. Unfortunately, by the time you add tax and shipping, you end up paying pretty much the full price. It's still less than you would usually pay online, though. I don't have a local Toys R Us, but it you do, you might check and see if the same sale is going on in stores. The discount would especially be worth it then.
Finally, the Disney Store website has a fun "Buy One, Get One For $1" promo going on right now. There are lots of different items to mix and match. You can see everything HERE.
I guess that's about it for now. I'm slowly sifting through comments and getting my replies out. :) I'll have more updates for you later!
Happy Shopping, everyone!
Hi Hanna, I just wanted to let you know that I was doing some research on Hearts for Hearts dolls when I came across some of your pictures and found something I think will disturb you. (It would disturb me!) There was one of your pictures of a red haired doll, a Tonner I think. I got distracted from my purpose, (as happens frequently!), and I wanted to take a better look at your doll. When I clicked on the picture in Images it came up with the tag 'spread awesome legs'! Not really what you might want associated with your blog! When I clicked on the link to take me to your blog I was taken to something that did have some of your pictures and some out of context wording, and a lot of ads. Your actual blog wasn't there though. Here is where it took me: http://appsmediatama.net/tag/never-grow-up-a-mom%23039s-guide-to-dolls-and-more!-hearts
ReplyDeleteI've been running into stuff like this a lot lately, where clicking on someone's pictures,(Including my own.) takes you to somewhere besides the actual blog, with a lot of ad content and no way to get to the place you were trying to go from there. I thought this might be something you would want to get to the bottom of considering the inapproprate tag, or whatever it's called.
Yikes! Thanks for letting me know, Tam! :( I'll try to see what's going on and if there's anything I can do.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the heads up on the sales! I have had my eye on Mattel Cinderella. Originally, I didn't think I would get a live-action Ella, but I think with the excitement of the movie, I feel like I want one now. I bet AFTER I go see it, I will really want one. :) Always great to save a few bucks though, so thanks again! I'm not even going to click on the Disney Store, lol..too tempting!
ReplyDeleteThe Build-a-Bear ponies are actually really cute! I like some of the secondary characters even more than the mane 6, so I might have to pick up a Shining Armor and Princess Cadence for myself ;)
ReplyDelete(Also, yes, give us Big Mac NOW, hehe!)
You're welcome, Farrah Lily. :) Lol, yes, if you're anything like me, you will DEFINITELY want a doll after you see the movie. ;) I'm actually going to see it again with a friend in two days. I can't wait! :D
ReplyDeleteGlad I could help you save. ;)
I thought they were really cute too, Nene. :) I already have a Fluttershy from Build-A-Bear, and I love her. :)
Lol, glad I'm not the only one looking forward to a Big Mac. Wouldn't he be just adorable? :D
That Shining Armor is adorable!! AAA! I would also be a fan of a Big Mac as he is one of my favorite MLP characters. He reminds me of a pony version of Kristoff...
ReplyDeleteI love Luna and Cadence, probably getting one since besides Flutters, they are my favorites. But I really want a Crysalis. XD It would be kind of cool since she is my favorite villain. Plus with a princess Cadence in the mix it would be perfect!
ReplyDeleteCrysalis is one pony we won't have for a while. My youngest still can't watch all of "A Canterlot Wedding" because Queen Crysalis freaks her out. :}
