Here are some quick before and after shots of some of my past 18" doll rescues.  It's amazing what you can do with a doll someone has trashed or given up on! :)

  1. Those are some amazing works!! I've washed all my doll's hair and they look brand new. I also cleaned their skin!!

  2. Thanks, Alyssa. It's been really fun learning as I go. ;)

Great job on your dolls, too. :)

  3. Try Whink on the stain. It is very good. Use the liquid version. I use it a lot on antique doll clothes to remove ink and rust.

  5. I just commented on your dolls page that I love Katie and here she is needed love. I would never have guessed she'd ever been in that condition, you did an amazing job!

  6. Thanks, Maxine! :) It was a lot of work, but I'm very happy with how she turned out. :)

  7. I'm thinking of rewigging Hannah if the downy doesn't work and grace because her hair is so thin. It's rooted so it's not like I can just take it of and put it back on though...

  8. I have several dolls with rooted hair that I rewigged. I just cut the hair as close to the doll's head as I could and then put the wig on top.

Have fun with your doll projects! :)

  9. OMG! Can you fix something up for ME!?!?! Also you should get instagram. I am an aspiring photographer and post pictures. I also love following sites that have instagram accounts because you can see them showcase their greatest creations.

  10. Hi Emma! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. At this time, I'm not fixing dolls up for other people. I'm still learning myself. ;)

I've thought about Instagram, but I'm still trying to decide if I want to add yet another social media site. I'm already on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Gemr, Flickr, and YouTube aside from Blogger, and to be perfectly honest, I'm already overwhelmed. ;) I promise to consider it, though. :)
