Frozen Fever Dolls on DisneyStore.com!!!

Good grief, you guys are never going to believe me again when I tell you I'm taking a blogging hiatus. ;)  I just had to really quickly let everyone know that Frozen Fever items, including the Elsa and Anna doll set, are up on Disneystore.com! :D  You can see all of the new items HERE.

There's a limit of five each per set of dolls, so they could go pretty fast.  Hopefully the Disney Store is better stocked with these than they were with the original Frozen dolls.  Just in case they aren't, though, I wouldn't wait to long to get these if you want them. :)

Happy Shopping, everyone!! :D

I saw the Playmates website, and it seems they are still selling some outfits. Just a quick heads up!

Can't wait to see the short! The dolls heighten the anticipation!!!
Also, I have been considering getting an Ever After High doll. Do you have any advice on which one I should get first?
Thanks,

I know you know that the H4H is being discontinued. Now that I have some, and have started reading the online diaries, and could see the quality for myself, I've decided that they're my favorite doll line. That means a lot coming from me.

So, I can get really passionate about things I love. Last night was I was very....erm....loud. Yeah, we'll go with loud. So, Claire (my little sister) and I were brainstorming to see if there was any way to save these dolls. Well, we are going to contact the company and see if it's possible to save the dolls. If they are missing funds to keep it going, we are going to ask if we could start a Kick Starter campaign. (you inspired me to think of that. Thank you.)
Do you think that would work? Do you think people would donate money to that?

They're a very controversial doll brand for some people, so I know that isn't really helping their sales, but I love them for it.

Thanks for the tip, Anonymous. I saw that too! :)

Hi Shai! Sorry I didn't get back to you right away. The short was AMAZING! I hope you get a chance to see it. :)

As far as Ever After High dolls, one of my very favorites is Cedar Wood. I love her color palette, her slightly happier facial expression, and the detail of her clothing, accessories and wood grain. Some of my other favorites are Raven Queen, Cerise Hood, and Madeline Hatter (although I wish they'd made her smiling or at least a little more pleasant-looking). So apparently, I'm a Rebel. ;) Hope this at least gives you a starting point!

Hi Kathleen! I apologize for not responding sooner. I think your idea is a good one. It would be wonderful to see this line continue. Realistically, I'm not sure how well it would work to pull off your idea. For one thing, ever since Playmates Toys took over the production of the Hearts For Hearts Girls, it's been really hard to get in contact with anyone from the company. That will be your first major obstacle.

I think the Kickstarter campaign is a great idea, but I think it would probably be best to wait to start it until you had some sort of contact with the company. You'd want to make sure Playmates Toys would even consider starting up the line again before getting people's donations. It may be that they're just ready to move on, no matter how much you can raise.

Aside from some of the cultural things that came up, I know they had a problem with eye discoloration on some of the dolls. For a long while, they offered free replacement dolls to customers with defective dolls. That had to eat into their profits. They may have just decided it was time to come up with a different idea.

I'm sorry to sound so negative, but I want to try to give you a realistic expectation of what may happen.

All that being said, I think there's absolutely no harm in contacting the company and sharing your idea. It can't hurt anything. I think I would wait to see how far to continue with your plan until you heard back from them.

As to your second comment, I think that's a great idea as well, and one you could also present to the company.

Best of luck to you!

Thank you for the heads up, Ms. AGdoll! I didn't end up purchasing anything this time around, but I did enjoy window shopping! ;)

Hi Hannah!
It's fine. :D I am also worried about how well it would work, but we would definitely wait to start a campaign until they say they do or do not like that idea.

I was also worried when I saw that they were doing that. Our Rahel has it, but I didn't want to put them any further into that, even if it was only $25, so we didn't ask about it. Plus my sister thinks it is cool. :b

It's fine! I'm naturally a little bit "head in the clouds" when I come up with an idea, so having someone other than my mom who is down to earth about this is probably a good idea. :)

Yay! I'm glad you like that!

Thanks for the tips! :)

I really do hope it works out for you, Kathleen. It would be wonderful to see the Hearts For Hearts Girls dolls continue. :)

Lol, Oldest Gal has a Consuelo and a Dell with the faulty eyes. She can't bear to get rid of them because she's very attached to them. We decided they have special super powers, and that's why their eyes look the way they do. ;)

I so hope so! Thanks a ton for your help!

Haha, that's what happened to us, too. I've commented on here before and said we got Rahel and Shola, and we also got Dell a week or two ago, and Tipi is waiting in our grandparents house, because they had one there and not here. (Surjan is also in my parents closet, waiting for birthdays or a just-because gift day. We picked her out)
Our Dell was thankfully an older one, from when they still only had the original 6 out, so she's been in a box for waaay too long, and her eyes aren't changing, and are definitly still the original color, so I'm hoping they stay that way. I'm hoping Tipi doesn't have it either, but if she does, she'll also just have super powers!
