Sale Alerts: Pottery Barn Kids, American Girl and Disney Store Sales

Hi everyone!  Just wanted to let you know about a few sales going on right now.

First off, Pottery Barn Kids is having their summer sale, which includes some of their really cute 18" doll clothing and accessories.  There are even a couple of products with free shipping.  You can check out all of the toy sale HERE.

Disneystore.com also has a sale going on, and it includes their plush dolls and toys.  There are a few of the 11" plush princesses left (the same size as the Snow White from my giveaway).  I saw Mulan, Pocahontas, Jasmine, and Tiana.  These ones are on sale for $5 each.  Almost every 19"-21" plush princess doll is there, and they're on sale for $12 each.  I even saw the Tangled Ever After Rapunzel wedding plush that Oldest Gal got at the Disney Store. :)  Check out all of the plushies and other items for sale HERE.

And finally, a sale that I'm a bit late in announcing. :}  American Girl has been having a big "Last Chance Sale" on some of their items for around a week now.  Some items of interest that are included are Kanani's party outfit (for some reason, they're calling it the "Party Outfit for Dolls") and Kanani's capris, paired with a plain white doll tee.  There are some other great items as well.  You can see everything they have for sale HERE.

Hope you all have a wonderful week!  I have some more posts in the works, but this week the focus will be on catching up with Belle's Bulletins and Tess and Maggie's blog (celebrating their 2 Year Blogoversary). :)

Talk to all of you soon! :)

Sorry! I'm not a good influence, I guess. ;)

I didn't see the new Caroline pics on Doll Diaries, but I saw them on AGPlaythings. I like her blue dress and her parlor. :)

I know this is a little random, but I want a custom AG doll. Do you know where I could it customized and how I can get brown eyes for my AG doll? I do not have a brown eyed doll. Thank you so much, God bless!

love,
all ag

Hi All AG. The best suggestion I can give is joining the AGPlaythings forum. There are a lot of members there who do customizations. Usually, you have to provide the doll and have either the eyes you want swapped into the doll or be willing to trade them your doll's current eyes. I would highly recommend Jodybo. She's done lots of eye swaps and does a great job. There are also some members who customize dolls and then sell them.

Other than AG Playthings, I'm not sure where to direct you. I've pretty much decided I'm never doing an eyeswap again, especially for someone else. It's too difficult with too large of a margin for error. :}

I don't know if I said that right. Basically, I meant it's too hard and too easy to mess up on an eye swap. ;)

Hi Anonymous. Sorry I missed your comment. :) There are several dolls I've reviewed that are less expensive than American Girl dolls. Unfortunately, some of them are not being made any more, so they can still be expensive unless you find them at thrift stores or other places. My 2 favorite substitute brands are Gotz Little Sisters or Precious Day dolls or the Alexander Girlz dolls that sell at Costco around Christmas time. If you'd like some other ideas, though, you can check out my Doll Product Reviews page here (you'll have to copy and paste): http://nevergrowupdollguide.blogspot.com/p/doll-product-reviews.html

Hope this gives you a good starting point! :) If you have any more questions, you can always email me at nevergrowup.beastsbelle@gmail.com.
