My Toy Fair Pinterest Board

Hey everyone!  I'm just about ready to head in to art, but I wanted to give you a little update.

I decided that I would start a Toy Fair 2014 Pinterest board rather than continually doing little posts here and there on the blog.  Whenever I find something new from the Toy Fair, I will post a link to it there.  You can see the board HERE.

You'll definitely want to check it out today, as one of my trusty online resources (thanks, Linda!) found a great link that included pics of the TWO NEW HEARTS FOR HEARTS GIRLS, as well as some pics of the new line of Strawberry Shortcake dolls coming this fall from The Bridge Direct (Hasbro will no longer be making the SSC toys).

Just had to share my thoughts on these two releases (you know me...I can never publish anything without a commentary). ;)  I think both of the new Hearts For Hearts Girls, Surjan and Nyesha, are absolutely adorable.  I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed that Nyesha is yet another girl from the USA.  I really loved the fact that the girls came from all over the world, and we now have four dolls out of the twelve that are from the USA.  I would love to see a doll from Japan, or perhaps China or Korea.  There are plenty of European countries that could work for the line, too.  However, the stories on the two new dolls look interesting, and I appreciate that the company is keeping the theme of focusing on girls who want to change the world they live in.  I'm also just thrilled to see that new dolls are in the works, and I hope this line will continue. :)

As far as the Strawberry Shortcake dolls, so far I prefer the current Hasbro dolls.  I think their faces are a little bit sweeter.  It does look like most of the dolls are prototypes, so it's possible they will change a bit as they are produced.  Because of that, I'll hold off my judgement until I see the final product. ;)  I am hoping they'll have more Raspberry Torte dolls available since those are so hard to find from Hasbro.

I guess that's about all for now.  I've got to get going or I'll be late. :}  Have a great day, everyone!  Be sure to check out my DAC Kristoff review, too.  I got it up last night. :)

Do the new H4H girls have a new face mold? It looks a little different to me. While I'm not a huge fan of either, they are both cute and I'm sure they will have their fans :) Will you be getting Surjan or Nyesha? Thanks for the board and the update!

It's hard to tell. They kind of look like they might have unique face molds to the line, but I've found it difficult to determine face molds when I have the dolls in the room with me, much less by looking at an online picture. ;)

I have to admit I'm tempted to add these two to our collection, especially since we have all of the other dolls now. :} I'll have to wait and see.

I agree with you, about the Hearts for Hearts girls. There are so many countries in the world, do we really need 4 dolls from USA. It made me thinking that they cant release new dolls without one of them being from USA. I personaly would like to see a girl, who is from the Sami peopl - the nomads of scandinavian. Allso a girl from Greenland, or the Faroe Islands could be interresting. But thats just what is close to me. Just like you I would allso like to see a girl from Japan, China or korea.

I wish they would come out with more clothing, I exspecially would like to see some for Shola.

Freja, those sound like some great ideas for Hearts for Hearts Girls characters, too. :) Hopefully we'll see more come in the future!
