Thrift Store Finds and Repurposing

Here's a list of links to all of the posts with my thrift store finds or repurposed items for dolls.  This isn't meant to be a "brag" list, but instead a list of posts that encourages you to go out and find your own treasures to use for your dolls.  It also serves as a reminder that you don't necessarily have to pay top dollar or have brand name items to have some great accessories, outfits, and more for your dolls. :)

At the bottom of the page, I'll add pics of the thrift store goodies I've found that aren't featured in their own exclusive post. :)

Enjoy!  I hope this page leads you to search for treasures of your own. :)

Hi! I've never commented on your blog before but I just wanted to let you know that I like the changes you have made and this section is my favorite. I love to see and get inspiration from the things other people find and repurpose for their dolls. This is the first doll blog I joined and still my favorite.

I found a Molly AG for $5 at a thrift store... they are now getting harder to find, because more shops know what they are. I saw an AG for $50... not so much of a find but still better than new. I get dolls with awful hair and fix them. Recently I've done two Our Generation dolls. I got one for 2.25 and one for 99 cents! And I got a Lapsitter for Free with Purchase. I had not seen those before. I agree, don't grow up-- I am a Grandma of 14 (the latest due in a couple weeks) and only one granddaughter, so I "adopted" a couple girls to sew for, and of course my dolls all need wardrobes. The plan is to find girls that need them and give them away. So far, I haven't parted with too many of them. LOL I'll have to leave instructions in my will!!
