Happy Valentine's Day, Plus Sales and AG New Releases

Happy Valentine's Day to all my readers!  I hope you have a wonderful day with your loved ones. :)  I wanted to share a few things with you on this special day.

First, Pottery Barn Kids is having a big 5 day sale for President's Day.  Among their sale items are a few doll outfits and accessories, so I thought it would be worth mentioning.  You can see all of their toy sale items HERE.

Also, Disneystore.com is having a sitewide sale:  25% off when you use the DISNEYPAL.  And as usual, they are offering free shipping on orders over $75.  Click HERE to start shopping. :)

And finally, American Girl has released several new items today! :D  Here are some of my favorites:
Caroline's Calf Playset
(You can see more details HERE.)

Molly's Floral Pajamas
These either come by themselves or in Molly's Bedtime Set:

You can see them HERE.

And here are a few of my favorites from the My AG releases:

Sweet Spring Dress

Plaid Party Dress

I Love Pets Pajamas

Cycling Outfit

You can see all of the new My AG items HERE.

As usual, the prices are a bit more than I'd be willing to pay, but I always enjoy looking. ;)  What are your thoughts on the new releases?

Labor Day Sale At Pottery Barn Kids

Hey everyone, just another quickie today. :)  Pottery Barn Kids is having a promotion right now for Labor Day:  save an extra 15% off of sale items by applying the code SAVE15 at checkout.

There are several of their doll items on sale, so I've linked directly to their doll page HERE.  I don't think I'll be getting anything this time around, but there are some great doll clothes and accessories that I would be tempted to go for if I wasn't trying to be good. ;)

Happy shopping!

Sale Alerts: Pottery Barn Kids, American Girl and Disney Store Sales

Hi everyone!  Just wanted to let you know about a few sales going on right now.

First off, Pottery Barn Kids is having their summer sale, which includes some of their really cute 18" doll clothing and accessories.  There are even a couple of products with free shipping.  You can check out all of the toy sale HERE.

Disneystore.com also has a sale going on, and it includes their plush dolls and toys.  There are a few of the 11" plush princesses left (the same size as the Snow White from my giveaway).  I saw Mulan, Pocahontas, Jasmine, and Tiana.  These ones are on sale for $5 each.  Almost every 19"-21" plush princess doll is there, and they're on sale for $12 each.  I even saw the Tangled Ever After Rapunzel wedding plush that Oldest Gal got at the Disney Store. :)  Check out all of the plushies and other items for sale HERE.

And finally, a sale that I'm a bit late in announcing. :}  American Girl has been having a big "Last Chance Sale" on some of their items for around a week now.  Some items of interest that are included are Kanani's party outfit (for some reason, they're calling it the "Party Outfit for Dolls") and Kanani's capris, paired with a plain white doll tee.  There are some other great items as well.  You can see everything they have for sale HERE.

Hope you all have a wonderful week!  I have some more posts in the works, but this week the focus will be on catching up with Belle's Bulletins and Tess and Maggie's blog (celebrating their 2 Year Blogoversary). :)

Talk to all of you soon! :)

A Couple Memorial Day Sales You Might Be Interested In

Hi guys!  I thought I'd post this really quickly before church. :)  I checked my email this morning and found a few special Memorial Day sales that might interest my readers.

Pottery Barn Kids has some major discounts going on, including discounts on their toys.  Some of their 18" doll dresses and accessories are included in the sale.  I've linked directly to their toy page  HERE.  I believe the sale is for today and tomorrow. :)

Disney Store has a special sale as well:  an extra 25% off their sale prices.  You just have to apply the code MEMORIAL25 during checkout.  I was super excited about this one at first, because the last time I'd checked, all of the classic prince and princess dolls were on sale for $8 each.  Unfortunately, though, they are now back to regular price, so this sale won't apply to them. :(  The 17" Singing Tiana doll was on sale, though.  There were also some Avengers and Toy Story items on sale, so it's definitely worth checking out.  You can click HERE to see all of the current sale items.  This sale may only be good for today, because they had a different promotion yesterday, so they might be doing something new each day of the weekend.

Happy shopping, everyone! :)

Sale at Pottery Barn Kids

Just a quick post before church this morning. ;)  There are several doll-related items on sale at Pottery Barn Kids.  It sounds like today is the last day of the sale.  Just thought I'd let you all know in case there was something that sparked your interest. :)

You can view the doll items HERE.  Happy shopping! :)

Doll Sale at Pottery Barn Kids!

Another quick post today. :)   Pottery Barn Kids is having a 20% off sale on all of their dolls, plus free shipping!  The sale lasts until December 12th.

I checked the website, and it looks like only the dolls themselves are included in the sale, not any of the doll outfits or accessories.  However, the outfits and accessories are still part of the free shipping.  Also, their doll bunk bed is 20% off today only (it does not have free shipping, however).

The 18" Pottery Barn Kids dolls have the same face molds as the current Gotz Precious Day dolls.  I think they're cute, although I prefer the earlier Precious Day face molds myself (such as Hailey's).

Anyway, I thought I'd post this just in case anyone is interested.  You can go directly to their website HERE.

Happy Shopping!! :)

Veteran's Day Sale at Pottery Barn Kids

Hi everyone!  Pottery Barn Kids is having a sale in honor of Veteran's Day, and there were some great items for 18" dolls I thought you might be interested in.

First, there's a sale on their doll backpack and lunchbox sets, which includes free shipping.  They also have a school accessories set available, but it's backordered until November 30th.  You can still order it, but it will be a bit of a wait.  You can see all of the details HERE

I bought one of these backpack and lunchbox sets and was very pleased with it.  The quality is great, especially considering the price. :)

There's also a really cute back to school outfit for 18" dolls.  While it's being modeled by one of their cloth 18" dolls, it should also fit a regular 18" doll.  I bought an 18" doll outfit from them before that worked great for my AG dolls.  The shoes won't fit, though. :)  I've included a link to the outfit HERE.

Finally, there's a sale on a cute canopy for a doll bed.  I'm not 100% positive that this is for an 18" doll, but it looks like it would work.  You can see it for yourself HERE.

Hope this helps with some Christmas shopping! :)

Tax Return Goodies

Yesterday felt like Christmas again.  Both of the doll dresses I ordered with my tax return spending money came! :)  I got some great pics that I can't wait to share with you.

So first off, we have the adorable plaid holiday dress from Pottery Barn kids.  This dress is sooo cute.  The style is a bit juvenile for the ages I've assigned to my dolls, but they humored me and tried it on anyway. :)

I love the tulle underneath that makes the skirt poof out so far.  It reminds me of some of the dresses I've gotten as hand-me-downs for my daughters.  [I just noticed how different the coloring looks between all of Tess's pictures and Emma's pictures.  I have no clue why my camera did that.  The coloring is closer to Emma's pictures, in my opinion.]

The dress came with soft, velvety shoes as well, but I think they were designed more for PBK's cloth dolls.  They were way too big for my dolls.  The dress itself was worth the great sale price, though.

I tried the dress on Tess first, but then decided to try it on Emma as well.  Tess's body is a lot thicker than an AG body, so I wanted to give an accurate picture of how it fit for all of you AG collectors.  As you can see, it looks great on both of them.

I'd really like to try this dress on Charlie.  I think it would look great with her coloring.

Next, we have my BEAUTIFUL Regency dress from Doll Clothes of Yore.  Emma was really excited to finally have a Regency dress of her own.  She's been eyeing Tess's for quite some time. :)

For those of you considering purchasing from Doll Clothes of Yore, I thought it important to mention that my dress was not the exact same dress as the one pictured.  I don't know if this is the case with every dress, but I just wanted you to be aware.  The differences were minimal; it was almost the same dress.  The colors and trim were the same.  The lace around the collar was different, and the biggest difference was the bow at the center of the empire waist.  Here's a comparison of the two:

I didn't care for the bow in the center, especially since I wasn't expecting it, so I removed it and used it as a coordinating hair ribbon.  It was well-sewn, but fairly easy to remove.

So here are some pics of Emma in her new dress.  The color looks great with her skin tone and eye color.  It's one of those dresses that seems to change color depending on what background it's against.  It actually looks a lot greener in person, but photographed against the darker green background, it looks more blue.  (Oh, and for those of you interested, I got the idea for Emma's hairstyle from this Youtube video, a tutorial for human hair.)

And here are some pics of my two Regency girls.  Tess is planning on doing a new series of posts on the blog she shares with Maggie.   It's going to be called "Tea with Tess" and will feature special topics and special guests.  Keep checking back on Tess and Maggie's blog.  She's hoping to get the post up today or tomorrow. :)    UPDATE:  Tess just posted her first "Tea with Tess". :)  You can get there by clicking the link HERE.  Enjoy!! :)
