Hi everyone! I made it back from visiting my husband's sister and her family. We ended up basically having a mini family reunion on my husband's side. It was so much fun getting together with everyone! :)
While I was there, I got some great photos of Emma. The weather was perfect, and the scenery was breathtaking. It was the perfect place for a photo shoot. Enjoy the pics! :)

Thanks for the comments, gals. :) It's good to be back. Glad you enjoyed the pics.
In case anyone is curious, Emma's outfit is one of the Madame Alexander Friends 4 Life outfits sold at Walmart in 2009.
Very pretty photos! So glad that you are able to post pics again. Did you check out wqindows LiveWriter yet?
Thanks, Bama! I installed Windows Live Writer but haven't had a chance to try it out too much yet. It looks really nifty, though! :) I'll keep you updated on what I think.
Welcome back! Emma looks adorable, those are great pictures!
(Also, I changed comment settings on my blog, so hopefully the issues with embedded comments will go away. :D)
Thanks for commenting Jen. :)

Thanks, Anne. :) I've really enjoyed learning and experimenting with photography through this blog.
Emma's dress is one of my favorites, too! :)
YAY WELCOME BACK!!! Is that Ruthie?
Thanks, Kendall. :) Emma is actually a #41. She's very similar to Ruthie, but she has green eyes instead of grey. Her hair is also parted on the opposite side and is slightly darker in color. My mom has a Ruthie doll and I did a comparison post of the two in an earlier post. Here's the link, if you're interested:

Welcome back! That is an adorable outfit she's wearing. I think I'm a sucker for polka dot fabric. Thanks for providing the source because I was going to ask. :)
and I'm glad you found such a cute outfit from that Walmart line, because from what I remember, the dolls themselves were atrocious.
Hi Shari! Thanks for commenting. :)
I have a weakness for polka-dots myself. Some of the Walmart dolls were actually cute. I especially loved the African American girl. The main problem I noticed was that their heads were so much bigger than the rest of my dolls' heads, so they looked kind of funny next to each other. That, and their hair was pretty bad. :) I definitely prefer the Alexander Girlz dolls from Costco to the Walmart ones. :)
