Taking a Break

I've decided to go on a blogging hiatus for a couple of weeks.  I feel like I just need a little time to take a breather after finishing soccer season and before we plunge into the holidays. ;)  I will be back on or around the 14th.

During this time, I have a few goals in mind.  I hope to get some of my draft posts finished and scheduled for the month.  I am determined to get completely caught up on my blog emails!  I've left some of you waiting for months, and that's just unacceptable.  If I get nothing else accomplished during this break, I will at least get my emails done.

There are also some little things here and there on the blogs that I've been meaning to switch around and update, so I'm hoping I can focus on those a bit, too.

I'll be keeping up with my regular writing as well.  I had a great week of writing two weeks ago (getting over 4,000 words typed), but last week was so full of other things I didn't accomplish nearly as much.  My story is really coming along and I can't wait to share it with the world. ;)

Finally, I've decided to go forward with a Patreon.com account on a trial basis, so during these next couple of weeks I'd like to finalize the details for that.

When I come back, I'll have posts and news to share!  Thank you for understanding my need for this little break. :)

Crazy Week

Hey guys!  Sorry for the lack of "real" posting this week.  It's the last week of soccer for Oldest Gal, so we had a game Monday, practice Tuesday, Day One of the final tournament today, and Day Two tomorrow.  Whew!!  I should emerge from the soccer craziness by the end of the week.  Stay tuned! ;)

The Great Soccer Saga Begins...

Oldest Gal has her first game tomorrow, and until mid-October, soccer is going to be our life in the afternoons. :}  I'm super excited to be able to be there and cheer her on, but it will also make things a little more hectic.  As a result, my posting may be a bit sporadic for a while.  Aside from the draft posts I'm slowly sifting through, I have a couple of posts I'm working on with the girls.  We're just having a bit of a problem finding enough time to get their parts of the reviews finished. :}

So basically, I just wanted to let you know that I'm still alive and you will hear something more substantial from me soon. ;)

In other news, I spoke about blogging last night at our writers meeting, and it went really well! :)  I'll share more about that in a later post.  Right now, I'm on reading homework with girl #3 (they each have to read out loud to me for twenty minutes), and then it's bath and shower time just before bed.  Phew!!  I think we can squeeze it all in. ;)

P.S. Hooray!  I've finally reached 400 followers, thanks to one of my dear writer friends! :D  I'm blown away.  I always thought that reaching 100 would be my ultimate goal.  This has far surpassed it. :)
