Hey guys! The Disney Store put up a link to this blog post on Facebook. I thought you might find it interesting. I appreciate that Disney has clearly explained what to expect regarding the merchandise. It sounds like we won't see Frozen stuff in stores until July or August, but online things should be restocked every week.

If I understand correctly, then the blog says that Frozen dolls will only be sold at the Disney store on Saturday mornings? That sounds bizarre to me. And what is up with the Elsa dress raffle? They should just limit all products to 2 per customer and sell them as normal till they run out.
Sorry to be off-topic, but I was reading the new issue of Doll Mag and saw you where in it! Congrats!
HUZZAH! That means I still have a chance to get an Elsa doll! :)

Hi Aileen. The Frozen dolls have been selling out within an hour on the websites, even with the two per item limit. And apparently the Elsa dress has been one of the most popular items, so much so that keeping it in stock for any length of time has been very difficult, even with the limits. I think the company was not expecting the huge demand for the products. They got behind and are still scrambling to catch up. I'm assuming the selling of the dolls on Saturdays and the Elsa dress raffle are ways they feel they can limit the chaos as much as possible. :( I'm just relieved that they are planning to restock online every week. I'll take a whirlwind sale online over a crazed customer encounter in-store anytime. ;)
Thanks Juliet! I was very honored that they asked me. :) I almost blew the opportunity...I said I'd do the interview via email and then forgot about it. :{ If they hadn't sent me a reminder, I would have missed out!
I thought they did a great job with the magazine. It's my first time seeing it. :)
Yay! I hope you can get her, Kate! :)
Thanks, I got my dolls today at my local Disney store, there was some line but nothing too much they had enough for everybody, everything went very smooth, you have to there before ten, they were selling only two per customer, and the raffle dress , it seems like most people will get it :)
Thanks for sharing, Anonymous. I'm glad it went so well. It's nice to know the Disney Store is trying to come up with a good method for dealing with the Frozen shortage in store. :)
