Disney Store Offers, Twitter, and Upcoming Posts

Hey everyone! Hope your week is going well. Mine is great, but crazy! ;)

The good news is, I found my camera! :D I hope to have my promised Rosabella Beauty review up by the end of this week, and I'm working on some other posts to publish, too.

I also wanted to let everyone know that I decided to open a Twitter account again. I'm trying to delve slowly into the world of Twitter, but I post YouTube and blog updates there along with a few other things. You can see my Twitter account HERE.

I also wanted to let you Disney fans know that there are a few great promotions on the Disney Store website right now. There are some items that are 40% off in an online-exclusive sale. Just use the promo code KACHOW. The sale items include the live action Cinderella dolls, some of the singing dolls, a few DAC dolls, and more. You can see all of the items HERE. This promotion lasts until Thursday of this week.

Also, there is free shipping with the purchase of any Disney Parks item, good until Wednesday, when you use the promo code PARKFREE. Check out all of the Disney Parks items HERE.

Happy Shopping, everyone! I'll be back soon with another review. :)

I hope you have a great week as well! I know what you mean about Twitter. I go back and forth with my personal account, but haven't really be able to stick with it for continued use!
I've really been enjoying your vlogs on YT. I think I am all caught up. It was great to see the inside of the gym and visualize the setting of where you work out. I was definitely getting a little teary listening to your trainer talk!!!
It really made me want to go to the gym as well. Since we live in such a rural area our closest gym is about 25 minutes away and I just can't make it work in my schedule. (For now.) I really miss the strength training though, as I am pretty good about taking a walk every day. Ah well...I'll have to just force myself to do my push ups/squats, etc at home!
Regarding the food, I feel like that is the hardest part as well. I think it's really difficult to just cut out food groups "cold turkey" like that. It can feel more stressful than it's worth, which for me, builds up and then I just get frustrated and give up and eat even more crap than I probably would of. I think making diet changes over time is much easier. It's taken me about 2 years to really make the switch over to more natural foods and decrease my addiction to sugar. I would see if I could eat a healthy breakfast and lunch at least and if I messed up at dinner or evening snack so be it. I like to follow an 80/20 rule and that 20% is for "cheat" items. :) It's good to celebrate the little stuff! I think real lifestyle changes that happen gradually tend to be the ones that stick around for the long haul as you eventually don't have to think about them as much as they become natural as your palate adjusts. I think you are doing such a terrific job and are so inspiring! Good luck with the remainder of your class.:)
As for me..I'm on a buying freeze due to budget and holidays (we need to save for a new car!) so I am not even going to look at the Disney website. ;)

Hi Meritre! Sorry to keep you waiting for so long. I was so relieved when I found my camera with all of her pictures. :} I hope to have her review up by the end of the week. :)

Hi Farrah Lily. :) I first attempted Twitter when I revamped my blog a couple of years ago. The problem was, I opened Twitter, Facebook, and Pinterest accounts all at the same time. It was a little too overwhelming to learn three new social media sites all at once. ;)

Like any social media, Twitter can be a real time-killer, too, so I'm trying to use it wisely. ;)

I'm so glad you've been enjoying my vlogs. It's been so much fun making them, and it's been incredible to look back and see how far I've come.

I was getting teary RECORDING my trainer! ;) I didn't mean to make her cry. She's so incredible, though. I love going to a gym where my trainer cares that much about me and my classmates. :)

I'm sorry your closest gym is so far away. If it's not convenient to your location and schedule, it's so hard. My gym is actually around twenty minutes away from my house, but it's only two minutes away from the girls' school, so it works out pretty well. :)

Lol, when I told my trainer about my at-home circuit, she told me I should do a vlog of that to show people how it can be done. We'll see. ;) I'm still recovering from the footage of myself at the gym. Nothing like watching yourself exercise to see how much you still have to learn. ;) I'm still cringing over my push ups. ;)

I totally hear you on the food. I wanted to try to do the Skinny Jeans nutrition according to plan, but next time I do it, I'm definitely going to stick with the Phase 2 eating. It worked really well for me. Like you said, cutting out food groups cold turkey was really challenging and kinda messed me up.

Thanks so much for your encouragement. It means a lot. :)

Lol, I'm trying to avoid the Disney Store website, too. With gym fees, a trip, bills, and Christmas coming up, I need to be good. Sigh. It's killing me that this is the second time the live action Cinderella and Kit dolls are 40% off WITH FREE SHIPPING and I can't afford them. Oh well. I suppose I can live without yet another set of dolls. ;)

Have a great week!

The Athena doll from the Tomorrowland movie is one of the 40% items on the Disney website. I have not seen the movie, but the doll is really nice. In some ways she reminds me of the Lammily doll, but Athena is articulated. She makes a nice alternative to princess dolls.

I understand having other spending priorities though at this time of year. I have 10 grandchildren!
