Funko Mystery Minis Frozen Figures!

Okay, so this blogging hiatus isn't as much of a hiatus as I thought it would be.  There are just too many things to share with all of you! ;)  I did get a chapter and a half written yesterday on my book, and I'm planning on writing more later this evening, so I am getting some stuff done there, too. ;)

Today ended up being more of a running errands day than a writing day.  While I was out, I found some brand new Frozen-themed Funko Mystery Minis for $5.95 each at Barnes and Noble! :D

Lol, I couldn't tell my camera had taken this picture, but thankfully it did! ;)

Since I haven't had the chance to put together my "Ask Beastsbelle" vlog yet, I thought I'd do a box opening video, just for fun, to tide you over. ;)  You can see it HERE.

Warning: (which maybe should have come before the link) I discovered I am really bad at taking a video with one hand while simultaneously opening a box one-handed. (How do all those YouTubers do it?)  Be prepared for random dropping of items, shaky camera, and my commentary about how hard it is to open this stuff and record at the same time. ;)

I also tried turning the camera to record myself from the back of my phone, but couldn't see what was recording.  It's not the most flattering shot of me, but since I keep talking about "keeping it real" here on the blog, I guess I shouldn't be all worried about my appearance. ;)

If you'd rather not suffer through my novice video, here are pictures of the two figures I got:

Marshmallow and Kristoff! :D

I think this is probably my favorite figure version of Marshmallow I've ever seen.  They captured him perfectly! :)

I'm so excited I got Kristoff!!  I even said that in the video before I opened them. ;)  I especially love that they posed him with his guitar.

I hope you enjoyed this short little post and my rather random video! ;)  Have a wonderful day!  I'm almost done with another short post for Friday for all of you to enjoy.

On Friday afternoon, we'll be leaving for our annual birthday trip for the girls, and won't return until Monday, so things will probably be pretty quiet around here during that time.  I'll try to check in and at least publish comments so you can all enjoy them. :)

One Last Day to Enter!!

Hey guys!  My day is going to be super crazy tomorrow, so I thought I'd do a quick post before bed.  Just a reminder that tomorrow is the last day to enter my Blogoversary Giveaway, so be sure to get your entries in by then!  We have well over 100 entries so far from all over the world...I can't wait to see who wins! :D

One of the things I'll be doing tomorrow is going to my local Barnes and Noble.  At 7:00 in the evening, they're having a "Frozen Friday" event celebrating Disney's Frozen.  There will be crafts, games, a sing-along, and I believe even a giveaway.  I thought I'd mention this just in case you guys want to check your local stores and see if the same thing is happening all over.  You can be sure I'll get a few pics of our event to share with you. :)

I want to thank all of you for your sweet comments you've been leaving on the giveaway post.  I wish I could publish all of them without exposing your email addresses, but I've cherished them just the same.  You guys are incredible. :)

I guess that's all for now...I need to get to bed!!  I'll have the results of the giveaway posted sometime on Saturday, so stay tuned! :)

Caroline Giveaway at Barnes and Noble

Some of you might not have heard that Barnes and Noble is currently having a giveaway.  100 winners nationwide will receive a brand new Caroline Abbott doll in a random drawing taking place on October 15th.  You can either enter online or in stores, but there is only one entry allowed per person and per email address.  Also, all entrants must be at least 18 years old, so if you're younger than that, you'll have to get a parent to enter for you.  If you'd like to enter online, you can click HERE to go directly to Barnes and Noble's Caroline Drawing page.

The other great thing about this giveaway is that it gives those of us without an AG Place nearby an opportunity to see this gorgeous new doll in person! :)  I hightailed it for my local Barnes and Noble this morning after dropping off my two older daughters at school, and sure enough, there was Caroline, looking adorable but slightly claustrophobic in her protective plexiglass. ;)

I had my cell phone with me, so I took a couple of pictures.  (Sorry about the crummy quality!!  I don't have a smart phone.) ;)  Trust me, these pictures do NOT do her any sort of justice.

As you can probably tell, I also had a major problem with the store lights reflecting off of the plastic surface of her container.

Still, it was wonderful to be able to see her in person.  Her eyes are just stunning, and I am well on my way to being completely "in love" with this doll. :D  It probably won't be anytime soon, but someday I would like to add Caroline to my doll family.

I decided to purchase a "Meet Caroline" book while I was there, so I'll be sure to share my thoughts after I've had a chance to read it. :)

Now off you go to enter the drawing! ;)
