I love all the little details!
Be sure to follow the link above to the Crazy Doll Lady's online store...there are lots of great goodies there! :)
I had just a few more random updates and pics. My meeting with my writing coach went really well yesterday. I came home, reworked some things, and then typed over 1200 words. :) It was lots of fun to set aside a chunk of time to work on my story.
Here's a fallish (is that a word?) pic of Tess holding an adorable doll-sized pomegranate from our pomegranate tree in the back yard. It was so cute and little that I just had to take a pic.
Did anyone else get the new American Girl catalog in the mail? Ours came this last week, and the girls have spent hours pouring over it. The catalog has been lots of fun. The only downside is that my oldest discovered the news about Felicity's retirement (which I've managed to keep a secret until now). Of course, she had to find out right at bedtime. I went into the bedroom my daughters share to find two of them in tears. My oldest is interested in Elizabeth as well as Josefina, and my middle girl has been asking about a Felicity doll for months now. It was really hard to keep their Christmas presents a secret (those of you who've been following my blog know that I'm getting them dolls for Christmas: My oldest is getting a Josefina and a mini Elizabeth and my middle is getting a Felicity and a mini Felicity). I managed to keep my lips sealed and comfort them with the fact that we might still be able to find the dolls even after they retire. It took a good half an hour, but finally they were calmed down enough to go to sleep. Thanks a lot, American Girl! :}
I think that's about all for now. Keep checking back for more posts coming soon! :)
