Hey everyone! The next few days are going to be a little unusual. We're in the middle of an extreme heat wave and are hitting temperatures between 108 and 115 degrees. In this type of weather, our little swamp cooler just doesn't cut it. To beat the heat, we've been staying with my parents since they have central air.
As a result, my posting might not be as regular for this next week or so. My parents have a computer, but I don't have all of my usual photo stuff there. I did already take my pictures for my Disney Belle and Rapunzel doll comparisons, so I'm hoping to get that post up later today or perhaps tomorrow. I'm home for a brief period to pay some bills and do some laundry, and then we'll be off to my mom and dad's again. (I had actually thought about working on my post now, but I forgot my camera there.) :}
Hope you're all having a great week so far. I'll be around when I can. :)

I feel your pain! Here in California we have one season-summer. It's like 85 in winter (Okay so I may be being a little dramatic)!
I know what you mean...I'm in Northern California, so our winters are slightly better. We get lots of rain and snow once in a blue moon. ;) But the summers are pretty brutal. :{
Ohh...That sounds awful! My dad has a good friend that lives out there also and he has been complaining about the heat. Here is Michigan right now, I could complain, but not about heat...
The past 12 days, we have had NOTHING but non stop thunder storms. At first I loved it. But after a solid week, it got quite irritating. We've had a lot of flooding in the area. (I'm so glad we live 5 miles away from Lake Erie. The people that live on the water's edge have had to evacuate because of the rising water.)
Our weather here today was in the low 60's, so I found myself wearing jeans and a sweatshirt all day. I really do feel for you with your heat. Maybe if you send some warmth this way, we can send you some coolness. :)

It was super hot here in New England for awhile, but now it won't stop raining! I'd welcome any sun!
Stay cool! I live in Texas and the heat lately has been brutal. But ours is mostly humidity. So i feel your pain!
Thanks, everyone. :)
Sammy, I like your idea. If only we could exchange weather like that, right? ;)
Southern California is also feeling this heat wave. Good thing I have a pool in my back yard!
Pools are always a great way to beat the heat. ;) Someday I may have one too, but for now it's nice to not worry about the deep end with three small girls. :}
Thought you might like to see the new Disney Animator dolls that are being released. They revamped Belle, although I prefer the original. The pics are just a bit down the page.

Thanks for the link, Kristina. I'd seen some of these a couple of days ago on Facebook. They're really cute, but not necessarily unique enough from the others to tempt me to spend the money on them. And like you, I prefer the original Belle. Her new yellow dress is cute but looks more like Jane's from Tarzan. It would be fun for someone who wanted to make a custom DAC Jane. ;)
