Christmas Craziness

Hey everyone!  Sorry I didn't get a post up on Friday or Saturday like I had planned.  The weekend ended up being a lot busier than I anticipated.  I wrapped up a fun doll photo shoot that will be part of my Christmas gift to a doll club friend.  Unfortunately, I can't share it with you yet because I'm not sure if she reads the blog, and I want it to be a surprise. ;)  After this coming Saturday (the 13th), I'll be sure to share photos with you. :)

Yesterday was one of those crazy Sundays where a million things were happening.  I sang in a triple trio for the morning service, and the girls sang with the "King's Kids" group as well.  Then, last night, we had a special, musical Christmas service in which the girls sang another "King's Kids" number and Middle Gal had a piano solo.  We got home rather late and enjoyed Popeye's with Hubby before getting to bed. :)

Today will be another full day.  I'm helping Mimi with some cleaning (and then watching a movie with her).  Tonight is my writing group's annual Christmas party, so I'm really looking forward to that, too.

All that to say, you probably won't hear from me until some time tomorrow, or possibly even Wednesday.

Here's a preview of the post I'm working on:

A long-overdue review of the Frozen Anna and Elsa doll set from JC Penney's.

I bought these cuties back in November during my blogging hiatus, and then had to put the review on hold because I wasn't sure if I would have to return them when things got really tight financially.  Thankfully, I was able to keep them, open them, and share a fun review with all of you...once I get it written. :}

The coming weeks are filling up quickly for me, as I'm sure they are for many of you, too.  I'll do my best to post as often as I can this month, but I can't promise I'll be the best blogger this December. I have to keep my sanity, all the while holding onto that "Christmas wonder" I was talking about in my last post. ;)

And now, I really must run so I'm not late getting my girls to school!

Have a blessed week! :)

(Aww, man...I just realized I haven't sent off my Christmas cards yet, either.) :}

Things always get crazy around Christmas.
Hope you enjoy the party! :)
And I also hope your financial situation will get better, it's horrible to have to worry about money all the time. :(
Those ladies look really lovely. My sister is such a great person, for she plans to get an Anna and an Elsa for me for Christmas! She's the best sister ever!
You, too, have a blessed week!

So awesome to hear of your musical talents that seem to run in the family! I am sure there will be plenty of time post-Christmas to be full swing back into the blog again..I'm not sure how long winter sticks around over there in Northern Cal, but here in NY it lasts forever! Looking forward to your review of the coronation ladies :)

I'll be curious to read this review! The JC penny dolls didn't look as good of quailty as the disney store dolls do, so I'll be anxious for a comparison!

Love your blog, and hang in there! :)

Oh man, I wish the local Penney's stores had the Disney boutiques in them! If these gals go up on ebay after the review, I'd definitely be bidding!

Thanks, Farrah! It's so fun that my girls love to sing, too. :) Middle Gal is doing very well at piano as well. :)

Winter comes and goes here. We'll probably start having warmer weather anywhere from late February to early March.

Hi Presto! Sorry to disappoint, but at least for now, these gals are staying with me. ;) I feel bad that I had to wait so long to review them...I don't know if they're even still available at Penney's. :{

decembers are always crazy right? xD

you must be very proud of your gals, it seems that they all have great talents.

Your frozen dolls look great! I just saw a real disney store elsa doll in person the other day,man she's far more superior that any knock-off,pictures just don't do justice.

anyways,amazon has a sale on ever after high dolls,the few older dolls cost around $10

Yay for the end of your blog hiatus! I've been eagerly awaiting your review on these two. My doll budget is rather slim as well, so your review of the sisters will help me decide if I should buy them or not :-)

Whoops! I wrote "honey" by mistake. It's "honeysuckle jasmine" from Flickr! :-)

Hi honeysucklejasmine! Great to hear from you. :) Sorry it took me a while to respond...it's been a crazy week. ;)

I'm sorry you had to wait so long for the review, but it's up now! I hope you enjoy it!

I'm sorry I missed a few of your comments this time around. I suppose this would be an appropriate post to do so, since it was all about how crazy things are. ;) Please know that I value each and every one of you and love hearing from you, even if I don't leave a detailed response every time! :)
